Philip Ibbs Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 I Bought my Alphard 3 litre form Newacre cars in Coventry in March, finally getting the keepers logbook in October..... Having fitted new tyres on supplying the car, the inner edges of the fronts have already got marked wear on them. I have bought the NZ translations of the handbook, but can't find a value for setting the tracking. I know a lot of modern cars run 20' toe out, but this does cause a lot of wear, especially considering the negative camber that most have, so I'm happier running toe-in. Does anyone have a value, or can point me to a table? Thanks
MonsterS Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 There was a system that the alphard are actually on I thought it was star something. I'll have a look and see
benpenzance Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 Any advance on this? Would really help me out too
Chris.ac Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 This any good? http://www.jltechno.com/en/alignment_specs.php?brand=Toyota&ModelName=Alphard/Vellfire:H10 Series:ANH10W&ModelID=610362
pcous Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Hi Philip, Like Chris, I found the jltechno figures, but after continuing problems I was also given these wheel alignment figures for 2002-07 Alphard, which came from our wheel alignment specialist, who searched Japanese data. They're a more extensive set of figures, but for some values the tolerance range is narrower than the jltechno figures (e.g. toe front & rear) Toyota->Alphard H10 Series:MNH10W Wheel Alignment Specification Parameter Minimum Maximum Front Total Toe -0.10 +0.10 FL Toe -0.05 +0.05 FR Toe -0.05 +0.05 FL Camber -1.25 +0.05 FR Camber -1.25 +0.05 FL Caster +1.40 +3.10 FR Caster +1.40 +3.10 FL SAI +10.05 +11.35 FR SAI +10.05 +11.35 FL Included Angle FR Included Angle Front Cross Camber +8.40 +8.40 -0.45 +11.40 +11.40 +0.45 Front Cross Caster -0.45 +0.45 Rear Total Toe -0.15 +0.15 RL Toe -0.08 +0.08 RR Toe -0.08 +0.08 RL Camber -2.0 -1.0 RR Camber -2.0 -1.0 Difficult to know which are correct.... 1
ijk Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 I just went to ATS and it really was a case of "computer says no" - he couldn't find the Alphard so could even measure the values. I left without any information. Surely they must be able to put in a generic vehicle to get the system to measure the wheels? Does anyone have any ideas where I can take it to have the alignment checked please?
