Hi

I wonder if someone can help me with an answer regarding warning lights.

If a 2008 Vellfire has a 4 X 4 icon on the instrument/display, is that on every Alphard/Vellfire?

So when it actually is a 4 X 4 it lights up, & otherwise does not if it's only two wheel drive.

post a pic of where it is on the dash display and i will look at mine (2 wheel drive) this is a dificault thing to answer because you would only see it if it was lit up.

I suspect that every generation of dash will have the same cutouts for any function, whether there is a bulb behind it, let alone the actual functionality is another matter. If you're not sure about having 4WD take a look at your rear suspension - can you see a differential and driveshafts?

The 4x4 symbol is present on all, regardless of if the vehicle has it.

If you do have 4x4, There will be a button on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel
