Is there a list anywhere of UK garages who are known to offer servicing and maintenance on Alphards and Alphard Hybrids?

Seems like a pretty basic thing to need, but can't find anything anywhere.

Hi Pete, Any luck in finding a garage ?

Hi all,

Any recommendations for Alphard garages?

I want a major service completed, I need the front end/steering checked over as the bushes maybe on their way out. I am a bit of a weirdo, as I like prevention rather than cure and do enjoy having all of my vehicles well looked after regularly. If anyone has any recommendations, do let me know. Of course, of you have had a poor experience, that would ge useful also. Maybe private message me if you didn't want to chat openly on the forum.

Hi Dan,

Have you approached your nearest Toyota dealer ? Or any other mechanic that is Toyota trained ?

Most  official dealers will not work on Imports; but some will.

You have an 'ordinary' Lexus engine; so anyone capable working on Toyotas should be OK.

Many mechanical parts are common across other Toyota models.

There is a list on this forum of common service parts.

Thank you Roger,

No, I have not approached anyone other than my normal mechanic who appeared a little uninterested in the Alphard. To be fair, he only works on German autos normally.

I will ring around next week and see who wanted to take a look. Always find it better to get a recommendation or a warning if a garage or mechanic is good or one to avoid.

If no one else has any feedback, once I have had the work done I will be happy to feedback on my experience.

Cheers for the information on the parts, that will be useful 👍

Thanks Dan

or My local garage in Sidlesham has serviced all 3 of my Mk2 Estimas and performed a service on my 2.4 2007 Alphard Hybrid and what he does'nt know he asks a friend. So far getting parts has not been a problem. Colin Campbell at C.M.C. Autos, Unit 4 Enbourne Business Park, Selsey Road, Sidlesham, 01243 641134 or Mob : 07970 072239. Or  Steve at Bright Spark Automotive www.brightsparkautomotive.co.uk  07774 152660. Sorted out the Hybrid. Lastly Listers Toyota in Stratford Upon Avon did work and supplied parts for the Estima's. Many main Toyota dealers will not touch imports. You can only ask. Good luck
