What, if anything, happens when you press the button? You may need new batteries for it to work. I would suspect it might start or stop the engine, but it could be something else so that would be worth checking.

As it's an after-market item you could look for matching kit in the vehicle, or do a search for Kakerukun

Hi I’ve found out on line after checking the key fob number that it is something to start and stop the engine have put new batteries in and nothing happens it might need reprogramming but I haven’t got a clue how this is done, if someone does know would they mind telling me

Hi everyone thanks so much for your time and effort I got the smart key fob from eBay and did the reprogramming and it works great the black button on the door does what it’s supposed to do 

unless you guys can give me any more tips on anything else that I might need to do to make this great motor even better I would love to hear then

Hi yes it’s not bad down here I was going to buy my camper van from him but got a better  one built by another company called all seasons in high Wycombe but again thanks for everything

Hi everyone just asking if you would know how to get hold of the courtesy light under the steering wheel to light up the floor as my one doesn’t work

There is a bulb list on here somewhere; not sure whether it includes all courtey lighting though.

 

Try the service section.

 

Or search through The Alphard Club or Monster S, as I think one of them added it ages ago.
