Chris19741974 Posted Tuesday at 03:07 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:07 PM Hi all! my Toyota Alphard 2006 only blows cold air into the cockpit! What should I try first to sort this out? Many thanks chris
MonsterS Posted Tuesday at 03:11 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:11 PM Hi Chris, Check your header tank (the rad system one) and see if its low, bring your van up to temp (with the rad cap off) then sqeeze the pip going into the header and see if you get air bubbles. 1
Alphard Club Posted Tuesday at 03:25 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:25 PM Air vent servo went on my old ANH10, you could hear it making noises behind the dash.. small motor that opens and closes hot and cold vents.. heard this happen a few times. i think access was from passenger side ( from what i remember) then behind the dash. You can see it with a torch Been a long time ago, so a bit vague on the memory
Alphard Club Posted Tuesday at 03:27 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:27 PM another one could be similar to what Alex said and could be the Thermostat not opening
Chris19741974 Posted Tuesday at 04:32 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 04:32 PM I have been hearing a funny noise from behind the dashboard definitely a motor noise thanks buddy

Also i think it went away when i turned off the air circulation or put the car in cold.
