Hello everyone,

Can anyone advise of an MOT garage near Maidenhead that has experience with Alphards?

Mine is due mid January and looking to book it in before Christmas.

Thanks in advance.

I've had my Alphard mot'ed by 3 different centres, all 3 didn't bat an eye at the sight of it.

An mot is an mot they don't need specialist tools because it's an import.

It was the same when i owned imported Toyota estima, hiace, Sera.

Just book it wherever you can.

Unless you know it's going to fail in advance.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for that.

I was thinking due to the odometer being in KM and the fog lights being adapted from factory fit, a garage with experience would know to look for these things.

I've booked in to a garage someone who owns an Alphard has used before and recommended.

My odometer 2003 is in KM, to ensure the tester does not enter it as miles either tell him or do what I did and put a sticker on the speedo saying "Odometer registers in Kilometres". Check the certificate when you collect it to make sure it has been entered as KM as some testers have been known to enter the reading as miles or convert the reading into miles, both are wrong, they then tell you that it has to be in miles but all they have to do is write km where it says Mileage
