Jacking point for rear of Hybrid

Featured Replies

While looking for the rear jacking point to raise both back wheels, I couldnt find a jacking point other than the black steel plate with the holes under as shown in the image. Just checking with others this is the correct area for the trolley jack to raise from. In the image, theres a 'HV' on the area im thinking of.rear-jackpoint.jpg

Until someone with more knowledge comes along I will say that I wouldn't use that location myself - I suspect it's a protector plate and not designed to hold up a ton or so.

I have found this video that might help - the jacking point for the rear looks to be just in front of the spare tyre:

Axle stands in the locations after the front wheels and before the rear wheels once it's raised would provide stability.

I can confirm that black plate on the Hybrid is the jacking point for the rear.
