what worked out well was we all seem to turn up at the same time, we then were directed to the wrong carpark, so we have to come back the way we came out and we were all passing each other, it was a great spectacle to see.
Then we all queued down the hill to line up. It was ace!
Thanks to everyone who came and hope you all got home safely. See you in the spring at the next meet.

For those southbound convoy, please make your way to the event at around 9.45 as its only 4 miles away. I am northbound so cannot be there.
For those going to be at the event, please use South car park

Are dogs allowed on site (not actually in the museum, but wherever the Alphards are gathering?)
I don't know for sure, but i cannot see why not as they are outside or in the car.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere: can we advertise stuff for sale or free? I have some colour 042 paint to give away and a driveaway awning for sale?
Hi Graeme, Was this at the club meet or on the club forum??
If the forum then you can find a for sale section on the front of the forum -
Please note, Those arriving straight to the event, you should park in the Southern area of the car park
The Nothern area is being used by another club.

Myself & my cousin, Alex, are heading to the southbound services in our Alphards. We are setting off from Liverpool at 6am!
HI Paul, I just sent an email to everyone with timings, I was hoping someone would spread the word when everyone is leaving services, it will be like a mass exodus of Alphards 😄
As I am northbound its difficult -
any members joining up at the southbound services?
I will be northbound so I cannot be in 2 places lol...

Hi guys how much is it per alphard
all there is is a small discount entry fee to the museum. Its not per Alphard cost but effectively if you do not go in to the museum then there is no cost. Not unless they sit at the gate. But normally payment is done at the museum itself.

Just wondered what the situation was with bringing friends/family along (a relative of mine had expressed interest in coming with me to the event). Are they covered by the member's attendance fee for the meet?
Considering that Alphies hold up to 8 persons, I thought it a worthwhile query!
Sorry if this question has already been asked/answered.
Thank you for your ongoing efforts. Should be a bonanza!
Anyone and everyone is welcome.

Good day to all our Alphard and Vellfire fans!
Not long now before our inaugural Alphard & Vellfire meet on the 2nd of October at British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire!
We felt it was time we made an update here for all those who have registered to the event to get an proper update, questions and answers to the event and just so everyone can be in the loop on what is going on. So please feel free to post here on this thread any questions you may have.
As you may be aware, we are also going to have an unofficial convoy. Basically we are meeting up on either the Southbound Or Northbound services and then a simple convoy to the event. We shall try and take photos. Here is the details again
Northbound Convoy (meet at 8.30 - 9am depart 9.15 am)
Moto Cherwell Valley (Junction 10 on the m40)23 Miles to the British Motor Museum
Southbound Convoy (meet at 9am - Depart 9.30 am )
Warwick Services (Birmingham to London side)
4.9 mile to the British Motor MuseumThe idea is to meet just before the time mentioned above for a quick pitstop, grab a quick coffee etc. and then proceed to the event venue.
If there are any passengers in the convoy wishing to take pictures and video for the club, then it would be most appreciated if you could send us some. This will attract larger numbers to our future meetings. For those who do not wish to convoy then simply turn up to the event from 10am at the museum.
The venue is a large museum which has toilets, cafe and a cool museum to look around. You are not obliged to got inside if it's not for you.
Another note would be as it's October, make sure you bring a brolly or raincoat. If you are bringing a brolly please be careful of other members cars when walking about. Hopefully it will be a fine day.
We hope the event is enjoyable and you can get some good insight and meet some like minded friends along the way.
As by popular request we have now club decals, these will be available for everyone FOC.
If you have any questions then please ask.
Thanks
