  1. That'll be it then! Thanks for advice.
  2. Mine has never done anything upon locking....only ever by pressing the switch to activate manually. I would like them to auto fold though. Perhaps it needs to be "re-learned" Somehow like the sunroof and auto windows after the battery has been disconnected?
  3. Beautiful Car mate. ....and what an amazing view!
  4. You won't keep the cameras though, and you will need additional cables to get it all working properly like: https://www.caraudioexpress.co.uk/collections/beat-sonic/products/beat-sonic-bc15-reverse-camera-adapter-for-toyota Would i do it again?.....No I don't think I would as long as you can get a decent Bluetooth transmitter....
  5. Check your month of production falls within this cables parameters, and it will retain the full speaker system. Expensive but works depending on the replacement stereo you choose... https://www.caraudioexpress.co.uk/collections/beat-sonic/products/beat-sonic-slx-131
  6. Deffo wanted sunroof/moonroof so I can clean the roof easier. Curtains, because they're really cool to show off and I wanted to kip in the back-I've slept in no problem a couple of times now. Didn't care about colour until I saw the Pearl white in the flesh- Just lovely when polished. 7 seater rather than 8, as I liked the spacious interior 3.0 litre for smoothness and not much difference in fuel consumption All electric doors and boot. Again, so i can show off. Love them. I also wanted but settled for not having: leather seats- glad I didn't as my mates New Mercm C220 burns in the sun, and chilly in the winter Rotating centre seats....Mine has footrests that I never use, so wish I did have spinny seats, though not the end of the world. 4 wheel drive. Thought this was almost a compromise too far to not have, but so far not even thought about it until now since buying in March. Mind you, no winter driving done yet. I wanted and bought the MZ V 3.0 62k miles on clock-runs like new-belt changed and 2 year warranty on car Fitted new stereo at great expense- regret spending so much on stupid cables, but very happy with sound on 10 speaker theatre sound through Kenwood double din. I may add bigger alloys at some point, but that's it. Be prepared for big fuel cost-especially at todays price of£1.52 per litre for Momentum 99 ron- you should use the good stuff. 60 litres each fill up gets around 320miles around the houses and work, and I had 410 with mix of a couple of motorway drives.
  7. Literally the best thing I've ever bought! Best car I've owned by a mile...I spent a long time waiting for the exact spec I wanted, and wasn't disappointed. I've owned: Mini Marcos Mini Renault 19 Vauxhall Nova Vauxhall Astra Rover 25 Daewoo Matiz Volvo 760 Volvo V40 Saab 9-3 Saab 9-5 Vauxhall Zafira
  8. You could ask Stuart Spencer in Dudley port.... Don't know if they work on cars purchased elsewhere, but no harm in asking them.
  9. Good luck, you will love the Alphie!!
  10. Thumbs up for Stuart Spencer...I bought from there ( a 3.5 grade) and it was very good condition-they were great to deal with.
  11. Not a stupid question at all!! if you don't know, then you don't know and it's always best to ask and find out. You may have helped someone else who didn't feel able to ask the question so all good. But no, you'll never live it down lol😉
  12. What does it say on the display in front of you? By the speedo dial you will have a lit up D if its in full auto drive, and a 3 if you have it stuck in 3rd.
  13. If you have the full HDD Theatre sound on the silver Head Unit, Dynamic sounds kit won't work....I'm finding out the hard (expensive) way. Beatsonics is the only one that has the Japanese connectors fitted for plug and play, but still have to add a few bullet connectors yourself too depending on New head Unit.
  14. I have a 3 litre V6....it ain't gonna be frugal! Currently getting about 300 miles to a tank from brim to Light on...60 litres with 10 reserve unused. About 23 to the gallon.
  15. ......but the link shows no available product for Alphard?
  16. Welcome to the madness of Alphard ownership....Just keep your wallet in your hand for the daft upgrades you'll "need".
  17. Getting your wheels balanced, and the tracking done are the cheapest and easiest things to do first....never hurts to have it all checked anyway so the money isn't wasted. Have a chat with the garage whilst you are there, it may be an easy fix for them. You're not happy with it as it is, so you've got to start somewhere to resolve it. I'd try and find a Garage that is used to working on heavier vehicles and fits higher load rated tyres rather than a Kwik Fit in this case.
  18. RAC cover £364.64 per annum. £322.51 if paid in one off payment. I went through Go Compare or similar, can't remember. 44 yr old, 14 years NCD (protection included) Social commute domestic pleasure. No fault claim in last 5 years. Parked on road outside home. I told them about Alarm Immobiliser, but they've left it off details. I would give the £1000 quotes a wide berth...
  19. RAC came in cheapest for me last week, Through Go Compare I think, or one of those...
  20. This is mine: Vehicle Tax Period: 12 months Vehicle Tax Amount Paid: GBP 294.00 3litre V MZ 2005
  21. Who are they please?
  22. Thanks for the update...good luck with the work
  23. Yep, doesn't seem too difficult. Just can't be 100% on retention of all features or even proper fit until i've given it a go. Don't blame me if it won't work lol!
  24. That seems very expensive! I was going to try something like this one DOUBLE DIN perhaps, but will wait until i've taken out the original first to see what's involved.. Will follow this to see process: Video
