    Awesome! Loving the Wheels.
  2. You will probably need the very expensive Beatsonic converter cables.....
  3. It works! Thank you.
  4. I'm on a 10 series I think (second half 2005)...looks nothing like the image above. I'll have a go at twiddling my knob (ooer missus) and see if it does the trick. Thanks guys!
  5. Hi guys, As the title says,,,anyone know if it's possible to dim the speedo/rev counter etc. lights?...I find them a bit bright at night.
  6. Also, try asking the same question on the Elgrand forum...they aren't fans of the E52 as it's more of a small mpv style
  7. Let's not be too strict on endorsements though unless blatantly advertising....it may put people off recommending good experiences for the sake of being politically correct. I'm also a member of the Nissan elgrand forum and they seem to do a good job of getting the balance correct.
  8. I like the idea of a camper conversion too, but I want to keep as much seating as possible and the ability to cart Electric bikes in when needed. We must have the same grade cars but from the different Jap traders (MZ G vs MZ V) I wonder if it's just leather vs Cloth? I went Stuart Spencer mostly because they offer 2 year warranty and underseal which I've never seen on second hand cars before....
  9. Forgot... The seats and footrests are factory upholstery. This is the 3.0l MZ V late 2005. No rotating seats available.
  10. Thanks Rojie, Very pleased with the car quality and I spend a fair bit of time looking after it. The net is good for smaller/lighter loads.. I put all the 6 cushions up there max, but useful to dump your valuables when sleeping in the back. We've done 5 nights in the back over 2 journeys and found it to be more comfortable than camp beds. These pictures were taken after 3.5-4 hrs of cleaning and polishing inside and out. They are gritting/salting the road again (4th time today) and I'm having kittens even though Krown rustproofed. I've done 6000 miles in 6 months and it's not missed a beat apart from speed sensor replacement (10 mins work) Supplied by Stuart Spencer Autos in Dudley who have been fantastic.
  11. Sometimes you can get a cover that looks decent though. I was quite pleased with this, and it feels good too being thicker...
  12. If you pop it into "P", it'll unlock the doors.
  13. Don't think you can alter the volume of the Japanese lady warning you, and you can only remove her by removing the rear camera wiring.
  14. jeez my heart stopped for a second there thinking it had been stolen!!!! Don't do that to us Rojie!
  15. I just measured the length of my existing ones, and found a matching set from halfrauds that were spot on.
  16. Hi Peter...Welcome!!
  17. Not that I'm aware of, which is why I chose Toyota over Nissan after 5 years of looking and researching. Unless anyone knows of any?
  18. I've just noticed this on my car too.... Not bothered to do anything just yet, as it's not dramatic, but does get tiresome over a longer drive.
  19. Isn't it just like an automatic choke? On old cars, you'd pull out the choke to let the revs run higher whilst the car settles down a bit, pop it in, and off you go. Mine starts at 1600, and drops in about 20 secs to 800
  20. Yes, you need to open and close the windows fully from each specific control button all the way down and up...then try auto from drivers buttons. Same with Moonroof.
  21. Thanks for posting the result!
  22. No press stud mounts for the carpets...that one doesn't have step carpets. I have the MZ V variant and it does, but I don't think it's that clear cut. There are many options with Japanese cars and I believe you can get many different combinations within the MZ G/V range. Just like European cars when you can get leather seats/heated seats etc.
  23. Check tyre pressures, and for brakes binding.... I get 320 from 60 litres average stop start driving and around 410 with motorways (3 litre)
  24. Great job Mike. much better than mine came out after 2 hours of sanding and polishing...the drill kept bucking and did my head in towards the end.
  25. That'll be it then! Thanks for advice.
