  1. I asked nengun to add these to their website so whoever interested here is the link: Nengun PerformanceSilk Blaze - 3D Floor Mats for Series 20 Vellfire/AlphardSilk Blaze offer their 3D Floor Mats for Series 20 Vellfire/Alphard vehicles.
  2. Its all sorted now everything works just the resolution is not the best but not the end of the world apart from that it is nice peace of kit. Also, it is quite easy to install and you save lots of money I saw some people charging £500-600 for this job… The problem was that two wires on the touchpad plug that goes in to the interface were mixed up. Switched places green with white cables and all good now.
  3. These are so nice. I have at the moment the silkblaze artina fabric mats and these would be great addition for winter.
  4. Did you have the same issue with the old system? They send me instructions to tap 15 times on the screen and then it goes in to calibration, but it doesn’t work because the touch is unresponsive. All the wires connected properly so not sure what is the problem here…
  5. You mean I should flip the original touch ribbon wire upside down? But the OEM touch works just fine, only the carplay touch is not responding. I spoke with the supplier, they told me the carplay touch needs calibrating.
  6. Everything looks connected properly, have a look maybe you see any error
  7. This is the issue at the moment 79011969437__9C6681FB-9D30-47AC-84D9-2FDF8CA7DADF.mov
  8. I can't find the Aux button on my screen, but the carplay appeared on the VTR. The problem is that when I switch to the carplay the touchpad does not work. Maybe I did not connect the touchpad I need to dismantle again and check the carplay touchpad connection because I cant think of what else could be wrong. The OEM touchpad goes through the same line, and it works fine; just the carplay touchpad does not work. Need to check this wire to make sure it is properly connected:
  9. So I managed to install everything the touch works and I can see the the carplay on the bluetooth but it doesn’t appear on the headunit screen not sure why
  10. Okay, I did not know you can drop down the screen. Will try to drop it and then open it, thanks.
  11. Did you remove the back unit or just the front to access the touch wire? I can’t seem to remove the back unit, unscrew all the screws but still doesn't budge.
  12. This document makes it quite simple. I have placed the order and it’s already shipped. Thank you for the recommendation and for useful guidance.
  13. It might be, I tried looking online, but nothing. Also, the wheels are SilkBlaze got some compliments already.
  14. Yes, the rest of the car is Modellista.
  15. The front lip he said was done by Admiration
  16. I agree, this kind of investment makes a man happy and not regretful. Also, we try to preserve the car as much as possible so it would serve us for a long time. This is the main reason I got concerned about corrosion. :)
  17. Well, a car is bad investment, but I am planning to use this car for as long as possible. The only concern I had was how fast the corrosion affect the car when the car had not been treated with any anti corrosion treatment. All the dealers and importers I spoke with told me it is beneficial but not necessary, and none of them appeared to make it a priority procedure before selling the car. I still plan to do a DIY with the Lanoguard once the weather becomes warmer.
  18. Actually, I studied a bit this manual and it is not that complicated after all. Will get this ordered.
  19. They send me some manual which I don’t understand, so they telling me you need to dismantle the headunit and you need a professional installer to do it. I might just install the usb port then I can use the navigation via phone. Have a look what the sent me: 39e9aa71cf516a544ff00a5ebdb33a0b.docx
  20. This look slightly more complicated than the one Chris used. I kinda like the original headunit that I have currently, not sure if I want to get rid of it. Will try to wait for the supplier to reply and will go from there. Here is what I have at the moment:
  21. Well that was his advice when I asked him about the underseal and if he could arrange it for me… The importer I bought this car from also had similar option he said it’s beneficial but not a necessity.
  22. I spoke today with Jade Autos boss he said he been in the business for ages one of the first importers and he said its not worth to seal the cars as they will outlive you before they rust to bits(the toyota alphard he ment) not sure if thats true. Have you ever seen any cases with these being rusted out bad?
