  1. Now here is a dilemma, if you have a rear kitchen then you use the side doors for entry and exit so do you get an awning to cover the rear and hence the cooking area or do you get a side awning so that you have cover in the event of rain whilst getting in and out and leave the kitchen area without a cover. Alternatively you need 2. My present way of thinking is a side awning (drive away) and simple cover to extend the coverage offered by the open rear hatch when cooking. Life's a compromise so don't take it too serious.
  2. Now having owned T2 camper the question of what awning is one that can go on forever. So lets start with does anyone recommend one that they have used/attached to their Alphard? I have 2 previously used on my T2 , one side and one for rear, and will feed back if suitable for the Alphard as soon as I get the opportunity.
  3. I tried various sites to get a replacement Cabin air filter (Aircon) and eventually ordered one through Japeuroparts (eBay) used the number supplied but was the wrong unit despite description. Contact Japeuroparts, they replied over the weekend, sourced correct item and had it on my desk by Wednesday morning. Bosch M2085. Impressed.
  4. Guys thanks for prompt replies. I accept the potential insurance implications and will look into replacement dial. As for the radios, not heard of Pumpkin but will look into alongside the Xtrons unit. thanks for your responses.
  5. Ok went the way of sticky back numbers namely 30, 50 and 70. daylight use is fine but less clear at night. I don't have a problem with this and my wife is getting more used to it, so for £3.00 ish on eBay acceptable. Next the radio !!
  6. Again many thanks Alextovey. I think sticky backed numbers will be my initial solution.
  7. Not only quick but does exactly what it says on the can. Cheers Alextovey an ideal answer perfectly backed up with Utube, thank you.
  8. Hi Alpardies, I appreciate there are differences in audio units fitted to these vehicles, but could someone out there outline the general removal process. Suppliers I have contacted require a photo of the rear of the unit and its connections to be able to determine alternative options. My vehicle is a 2006, 2.4 petrol. I will attached photo of front of unit. Thanks in anticipation.
  9. Salterns here we reside in Fareham Hants, sounds posh "reside" no we just live here. Should be a few around Hampshire with 3 importers/suppliers in the area.
  10. Hi Alphardies, Has anyone knowledge on the speedo conversion chip (Ebay item 382489861798) priced at £55 is it worth it? and does it still use the original speedo readings however through some electronic trickery adjust the signal such that the speedo indications now represent mph? SteveD
