I have the same problem. Just couldn't remove the bulb although it was easy to remove the inner reflector. Does the bulb just pull out with force or do you test and pull? Alphards are a nightmare when it comes to removing any interior panels. Some members have changed to LED's with no issues, but they don'y say exactly how they did it. Can anybody help please?
We spent a month in Provence this summer (our first camping trip in our 2.4L petrol automatic).
We covered 3,200 km round trip, mostly 70mph on autoroutes with air conditioning On.
The Alphard managed 33.2 mpg average for the whole trip. I was surprised and very pleased.
Identical to the one I have. Imported Jap Alphards don't have a rear fog light and importers must add a rear fog light prior to registering the vehicle in the UK. Try switching headlights on and then switch on this toggle switch and look at your tail lights (the offside light should be much brighter). I think the switch you say you already have is the one operated via the lever on the steering column, which has the option of daytime lights (not really fog lights).
