  1. That’s very annoying! Luckily i renewed with Adrian Flux ant the beginning of June and the increase was less than I expected. Now £380 fully comprehensive, only driver, 9 yrs NCB. 06 plated, 2.5 ltr, converted to camper. Don’t fill out the online form, speak to them direct. You get a better deal I find. Good luck.
  2. Yes I do realise there are no power buttons. It’s just that when I close the doors manually and slowly , as the catch engages the rear end of the door closes with an electric motor. So I was wondering if there is a way of adding the electrical kit needed to power the opening and closing action as in newer models.
  3. Hi Everyone, Am I right in thinking that my 2006 2.4 Anh10 is not fitted with electric sliding doors from the factory? Can I retro fit the motor mechanism with an available kit? Any help welcome.
  4. Thanks Rojie, I will upgrade the head unit Dreckly. But this ‘Eightseeter.blogspot.com’ website didn’t seem to be any good. Perhaps I was doing something wrong, not to worry, there’s always a laugh when ‘she’ talks to me every time I fire up the engine. I’m turning Japanese rapidly! Loving our Alfie already.
  5. Hi Rojie i have the HDD head unit in my Alfie. I can’t find a way to alter the language setting to English. I do have a translator app to see what the Japanese. Any suggestions? P.
  6. Thanks Derek, all noted. Should I get a CVX check done? I think I need the chassis number for that. I don’t imagine the seller would give me that before I complete the purchase. I will however give it a very thorough inspection before I accept it.
  7. Hello, the Toyota Alphard I am purchasing is currently going through DVLA registration. When I get the vehicle what documents should I receive from the seller, who imported the car? Any help or experiences would be gratefully received.
  8. Currently waiting for my Alphard to go through DVLA registration, Mark Richards would not quote me because of my age(72!), Adrian Flux quoted £380 without any extras. Hoping car is ready by May.
