Cleaning the cabin temperature sensor
I think the rear one with a pipe that sucks air through it is here, and looks a bit more complicated to access.

Cleaning the cabin temperature sensor
My climate control had been unable to hold a constant temperature, so along with replacing the flap actuator Servo I gave the cabin air temperature sensor a clean, and it's now working as it should. I thought I would post a couple of pictures as I couldn't find any when I was searching. The sensor has a tube which sucks air (and dust) in, and as you can see it was well clogged up.

Heater flap actuator replacement
I recently replaced the heater flap actuator with one I bought of Ali Express. It all seems to be working fine, and I think a lot easier than replacing the wheel inside. Prices seem to fluctuate a bit, I paid £23, here's the link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005011771253263.html

Dripping sound from AC
Turns out it wasn't a dripping sound, but the sound of the heater valve actuator clicking, which is a common failure. Seems to have stopped now though.

Dripping sound from AC
We recently purchased a 2007 Alphard, and after using it for a while with the AC running I have started to hear a dripping sound coming from the AC unit. Looking underneath there is no water dripping from the AC drain hose, I have check this thoroughly and the hose is completely dry. So I think there is a blockage inside the AC unit, Google says that a good blast with compressed air can clear the blockage and get the water flowing out of the unit again. Has anyone had any experience of this on an Alphard? Just want to check it's not going to damage anything, and whether the problem could be something else. Many thanks.
