Possibly  we’re planning some time away in September so will depend on dates.  Would be great to meet others from the group.

Good idea! We'll make it, if the timing fits with our plans. We like the idea of the meet and the convoy (and a campsite takeover), but have doubts about trying to shine our battered old beast.

As a new Alphard owner I would be interested. To meet fellow "Alphardites" to exchange ideas.

However I suffer from life limiting illness. my attendance would be dependant on my wellbeing on the day. But really hope to be there.

Hi Guys & Gals

I have been thinking about setting up a large meet for Alphard and Vellfire owners. I have quite a bit of experience with car meets and think it will be a good idea to gauge the interest here.

So here are some ideas i have, please feel free to have some input.

Location

I have run many of a meet at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, I am going to be contacting them as it's been a number of years since i have run 100+ vehicle car meets there. They have changed slightly. The reason for this location is that it's on the M40, located between London and Birmingham, accessible from the south west, South east, midlands and east of the country as the motorway makes it a very easy location.

Pre-meet

Idea of running a small convoy from one of the service stations on the M40 both sides of the motorway (coming in london side and also birminham side) in to the event, which should make a cool impact and great photo opportunity.

Museum

Access to the museum (at a reduced cost price) and cafe area.

Show and Shine

Possibly look at show and shine competition for the most shiniest Alphard inside and out. Opportunity to win an award

Meet up with the community

As this will be our first event in this club, it would be great to meet other like-minded owners, get insight and talk all about each others Alphard.

Campsite Invade (idea from Oldwellhouse)

Mass Alphard Camper pitch-up before or after the event for those who have campers (i guess Tents would also be good too)

So the main question is

1. Would you be interested in attending a meet near Warwickshire in September?

2. Do you have any ideas that could improve the meet?

3. Would joining a convoy in interest you?

4. Does show and shine competition interest you?

Look forward to your comments.

Hi, a meet up would be great although we live in North Yorkshire,  so we'd definitely need to camp. It would be nice if it could alternate say one year in the South and another year in the North.

We bought/picked up our Alphard about 3 weeks ago,  so quite new to Alphie camping.

Great idea,

This is a really good idea and we are interested in attending. Particularly like the idea of meeting other owners and looking at other Aplhards. Also be great if there were trade stands and experts attending. Like the idea of camping. Our Aphard won't win any competitions but its tidy enough to put on show, so might enter that.

I’d love to join the convoy in September before going onto Four Falls, Wales. I have a 2006 Alphard which I purchased, already converted by North Star, last October. Would be invaluable to share some knowledge/experiences from other owners. Deanne

My wife and I recently bought our 2007 3.0 Alphard, we would be up for this. October sounds good to us at the moment.

Don't think I'm going to be able to make this, unfortunately, it's on my working weekend. Shame because I'd really like to be part of the convoy. Have a great time everyone!
