Beefclown
Hi, i am am in the process of looking for a Alphard to convert in to a campervan. I’m a complete novice with anything automotive so would really appreciate some advice. I live in London and this will be our own car. As such, the hybrid option is appealing but a couple of dealers have said they won’t sell hybrids because of issues with the batteries - expensive requirements, complex electronics and less reliable gearboxes have all been mentioned. Others say they are great. Has anybody any experience of this or heard anything on the grapevine about the reliability of the hybrid option. Thanks
MonsterS
Like any hybrid that batteries do not last forever. However some people have trouble because diagnostic's are a nightmare when it comes to hybrids. I've got a 3L petrol and very happy with it.
