TTCOBALT Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 Hi I am a Newbie to this forum so apologise if I have missed something formally posted. I have a Toyota Alphard eco camper Tribrid that I bought from Eco Campers Scotland 18 months ago and it has an Optima red top battery model 8022-255 under the drivers seat that is virtually Kaput. it will hold a charge but not much so I need to replace it. it is not possible (I don't think) to take the battery out without removing the drivers seat and I wonder whether anyone has done this or changed the battery and can give me some pointers. Much appreciated and love the Campervan - just looking forward to using it this year when things ease up with CV-19 ATB and thanks Philip
MonsterS Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 Short answer no. your only hope would be to remove the driver seat. This is fairly easy to do as its a few bolts on to the frame and would take 15 - 20 mins with the right sockets.
