Hi I am a Newbie to this forum so apologise if I have missed something formally posted.

I have a Toyota Alphard eco camper Tribrid that I bought from Eco Campers Scotland  18 months ago and it has an Optima red top battery model 8022-255 under the drivers seat that is virtually Kaput. it will hold a charge but not much so I need to replace it.

it is not possible (I don't think) to take the battery out without removing the drivers seat and I wonder whether anyone has done this or changed the battery and can give me some pointers.

Much appreciated and love the Campervan - just looking forward to using it this year when things ease up with CV-19

ATB and thanks

Short answer no. your only hope would be to remove the driver seat. This is fairly easy to do as its a few bolts on to the frame and would take 15  - 20 mins with the right sockets.
