I have a Toyota Alphard eco camper Tribrid that I bought from Eco Campers Scotland 18 months ago and it has an Optima red top battery model 8022-255 under the drivers seat that is virtually Kaput. it will hold a charge but not much so I need to replace it. it is not possible (I don't think) to take the battery out without removing the drivers seat and I wonder whether anyone has done this or changed the battery and can give me some pointers. MonsterS Posted May 18, 2020 Share Posted May 18, 2020 Short answer no. your only hope would be to remove the driver seat. This is fairly easy to do as its a few bolts on to the frame and would take 15 - 20 mins with the right sockets. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
