Jax
thanks Roger, do you know how I would find this out please? I've read on here that imports are classed as dated from their manufacture, not import, but I don't know what class to tell DVLA on the calculator. thank you and thanks for running the forum

Imports are dated from their date of manufacture. not the date they are imported to the UK. DVLA will tell you what class they place your vehicle in, MPV from memory, and what road tax you must pay. I would check my documents but have absolutely no idea where they have been put (long story). Are you importing the vehicle yourself ? Is that what you mean by calculator ? If so, I don't have any experience of that process. Finally, thanks for your thanks, but I don't run the Forum . The membership does that, and they do it very well. Michael Brown
I have the 2.4 Hybrid, you'd think the DVLA would make some allowance that its a Hybrid and reduce the Road Tax accordingly, what say you.
