HI, 2010, series 2,   3.5 Vellfire, Toyota 26061 head unit, anyone know how to set the default screen, I set it to radio stations but after a few seconds it reverts back to the sat nav screen.

Hi there and welcome on your first post! I see from your profile you have been a reader here for quite a while !

If this is the screen you want, then then bottom row second from right button brings it, and keeps there, on ours.

Hi Neville thanks for repley, I do exactly that but after about 10 seconds the screen reverts to a blue blank sat nav screen, any ideas?

Unfortunately not.

Ours initially would default on starting to that "lost position" sat nav screen, but after using the wonders of Google translate camera on phones, over the various options screens, to set the phone connection and other stuff, it has stayed on the screen above - if that's where we had it last.

Thanks for that I will keep trying with the help of Google.

On my, admittedly much older alphard, there is an option to always have the navigation system on. I can't recall where it is, but probably worth checking in the navigation options to see if there is a 'Navigation always on' or similar.

Thanks Paul, I haven't found that option so far, I had a series 10 and it was a much simpler system.

Gamith is correct - there is (in one for the settings menus) an option that is set to 'on' for the SatNav: I had this same issue myself and found it after a search. The settings button is the top LH one. If you have an Android phone use Google Translate to look through the options - if I get a chance I'll look at mine tomorrow

Thanks Kevin, I have spent ages trying to find this in the settings but so far without success, if you can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Hi Carl,

Sorry - life got in the way again: on the HU I have (model 56107) it's straight forward - top LH physical button brings up the settings menu - at the top of the screen on the RH side there is a touch button called General Settings, and under that menu the "Auto Return to Nav Screen" option is the third from top (with off/on selection).

If you have an Android phone, use Google Translate / phone camera, it works very well for both screen and written pages.
