Down and up, possibly a couple of times each. If you have a moon roof you may need to do that too.
MonsterS Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Yes as Rojie said, but then the front ones to enable auto close and auto open you open each one and hold the button for 5 seconds, then close and once closed hold for 5 seconds and job done.
TheRizzler Posted May 15 Posted May 15 How did you get on with this one @Michael Brown? I have just got an Alphard and about to switch a seemingly weak battery for a new one. Worried that the auto doors/windows and god knows what else will stop working.
Gamith Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Having disconnected and reconnected my battery on several occasions it's only the windows that need attention. I sit in the drivers seat and lower the drivers window first, pause for 5 seconds and then raise it again. Then repeat for each of the other windows. By all means check other components; sunroof, head unit etc. but I would be surprised that changing the battery would have affected them.
Michael Brown Posted May 16 Author Posted May 16 Sorry not got back to you sooner but I have had computer problems with a new machine not playing ball. You have to sit in the seat beside the window you want to set. Lower each one down, hold for 5 secs, raise it up hold for 5 secs, repeating this a couple of times for each window. Then the windows can be operated from the drivers seat.
