My 2010 ANH20 2.4 Alphard requires indicator stalk with both front and rear fog light switch, I found out that fog light on the rear was not even connected, trying to get OEM connected but need the proper indicator stalk. tried ebay and amazon but no joy.

Most people have a switch on the dash that is wired into the front fog line and connects to a light or two at the back. The lights I got were one of these: which replace the reflector strips so are apart from the brake and side lights. Not only are these reflectors but you can wire the white up to act as running lights should you want.

To answer your question about the stalk you would be looking at one of these I expect.

No, Amayama says that's just for the 20 series. The headlight stalk for the ANH10 is 84140-32240 which is discontinued but about £10+fees+ship+VAT from Yahoo auction:

However, Amayama doesn't show a separate part with fog light functionality - 84140-32240 is the only stalk listed and the picture only shows front fog controls. So I'm not sure if there is one with rear control.

I would be interested in getting a stalk with front and rear fog light controls for my ANH10 but, as you say, the one listed for the 10 only has front fogs on it. I was wondering whether I can take one from a 20 and use it in my 10.

Maybe I will just stick to my dash button :-)

From the photos the 20 series one is physically different so doesn't look like a drop in fit.

Toyota doesn't list a part, but it's possible one from another model will fit. If you click on the Amayama link for the 84140-32240 it takes you to a page which lists 22 Toyota models the 10 series stalk fits - click on 'view ... on diagrams'. Perhaps you can find one that was sold in a market that requires a rear fog and find out the part number of the version with the extra fog switch. Might take a bit of sleuthing but Amayama often shows you a picture of the actual part, or you can search eBay/AliExpress/Zenmarket with the part number for photos.

I bought a cruise control stalk for my Prius and the AliExpress listing said it fitted a huge number of models, so I suspect there's lots of commonality. It's also possible a stalk will physically fit but the connector is different - but that can be changed.

10 series was never wired for a rear fog on the stalk.

The wiring diagram is quite clear that the dealer option for rear is a switch on the one of blank plates on dash.

The 20 series has a rear fog indicator on the clocks, and a signal wire and socket position in the steering wheel clock spring.
