Touch up paint

Featured Replies

Hello, any advice on the best product and process to touch up a small scratch on my Alphard. I believe it’s pearl white. My brother unfortunately pulled down his garage roof thinking it would clear the van.

I got mine from paintnuts, they were a very good match for our silver van.

Thanks Nigel, will check them out.

Hi there!

The colour code is on the door pillar name plate, passenger side.

I got a touch up bottle kit, paint and lacquer, from ebay.

Then later I got aerosol paint too, primer / base / pearl / lacquer.

Lots of suppliers out there for paint thankfully!

Cheers,

Nev

Hi Davio. Amazingly I spoke to someone in Glasgow today about this. There may be a sticker on side panel (in Japanese)when passenger door is open there was a bit where it said Col (colour) and underneath that a code for that colour. A body shop should be able to mix it for you. Hope that helps. Ian Y

So just checked and it’s 070. Do you think I’d require primer, paint and lacquer for a small scratch?. I can see the grey metal but it’s a pretty small scratch.

It'll depend on just how fastidious you are, for the few chips on ours, I wasn't too bothered for the roof, only VERY tall people see that 🤣20260402_123754.jpg
