Battery replacement

Featured Replies

Is it safe to just disconnect and replace the battery or will it loose its codes on the radio etc

And if so how do you go about recoding them

Having replaced the battery the only things I had to do was reset the clock and then the windows (fully lower, keep the button down for 5 seconds and then raise it up to closed, hold for 5 seconds and then do the next).

Brilliant thank you

Hi there Golom696!!

I can second the scenario Gamith said, but I didn't even have reset the window auto function, I was possibly lucky!

I think the head units are not "coded" as it would not seem to be not such a problem in their home market, far less theiving toe rags in Japan!!
