Window wipers

Featured Replies

I have now ordered two different sets of front wipers using eBay and their part guarantee... Neither have fitted. They are the correct size but wrong connection. I have a 2015 3.5 V6 AWD model. Anyone got a good link etc.?

Can the connector fittings be taken off the old ones and put on the new?

Only a thought - some photos of your wiper arms and what you have so far might help - it's possible that some custom arms have replaced the stock ones.

Hi firstgreyalphard, That sounds like a frustrating situation! It's a good point Gamith raised about the arms possibly being different. Sometimes with Japanese imports, even if the size is right, the clip mechanism can be a bit of a curveball.

Have you had a look at any specialist Japanese import parts suppliers?

Sometimes they have a bit more knowledge about the exact fittings for models like ours.

Good luck with it!

Can you confirm your rubber on the wipers have a metal rib running along it? If so you should be able to buy just the rubber 'refill' and not the entire blade.

Pictures attached above note thanks

Yep, I've had a car with those, I think it may have been a 2007 Ford Galaxy, but that would be at least 8 years ago, so I'm not definite.

Take one wiper off and go into your local Autofactors, or car spares shop, they will be able to sort you out.

If they can't they're total rubbish !!!

Problem solved for now. Bought wiper rubbers that work well enough as they are. Thanks everyone
