  1. need to be JOBD icarsoft scanner for Toyota (needs to be Toyota/Lexus version)
  2. Hi Saf Do you have an yellow engine light on the dash??
  3. peace of mind all fluid changed, always do it. i did think of changing anti roll bar bushes as i always change them on older cars, makes a difference... until i saw where they were located... yeah i left them.
  4. Hi robin Would this be cash on collection from wednesbury?
  5. you won't use the whole 5, but understandable you need to ensure you have enough. I did also top up again as there is some in the torque converter i wanted to ensure i change as much as possible,
  6. shame you are not near me as I have 3 bottles of Toyota WS on my shelf, but posting fluids is a pain.
  7. There is a an official toyota manual for this somewhere for this job. we had a PDF and downloaded it and read the step by step how to change the fluid properly. i will ask my friend if he still has it.

  10. this guide will help on the non-hybrid system, but 90% everything else would be relevant
  11. The reason the car is not exceeding 40kms is because it is in limp home mode. The check engine light (CEL) would make that happen. By utting on a new battery probably reset the CEL. The battery may of been the issue in this case. To preserve the connections on the battery, add a dab of Vaseline on the connections.
  12. @Sorin I would be interested to know the answer to this problem as well. did you sort it? I know a year has gone by
  13. LPG always kills old lamda sensors, get them swapped, 20 min job for a mechanic to get his hand in the engine bay and change. Had the same issue with the bank sensors and know of others.. usually just the one. But both can go. If you look at a live OBD reader you can check the live readings and compare with each other, will will see one will be out compared to the other. new sensors should be fine after that
  14. They are great cars indeed. Perfectly practical, powerful, gracious and expensive on fuel lol. But a 1st class ride was never the cheapest.
