  1. I have added it to the list. I only made this list last week and missed it off. I will update you to that one for you. You dont need to do anything\\cheers
  2. I did not have such a great experience afterwards. Yes nice guy but stuff i can see was patched up. Bodged detailing, after a few washes you can see where they had tried to machine polished and messed up the paintwork (Car is black) A real mess. Going to cost me £300 to have a 2-stage detail to get it back to normal paint. On the day i went to see the car, it had silicon product on it to hide these swirl marks. Missing spare wheel, that was £80 to get a used one Compromised suspension part, somehow did not fail the MOT or even an Advisory so had to find a new one and replace it. Beats me how that got through the MOT Supposed oil change but the oil was almost black after 2k, with these engines they are supposed to stay golden with the right oil. I think they used Mazola for oil . So i had to have a service on the car to ensure right oil was used. Now have piece of mind. only 1 key, promised to find another but never heard anything else ...so another £80 plus programming costs Only thing i can suggest it get a proper oil change done with filter. With a premium oil and filter. I would say this for any dealership purchase, its ok to get the old oil out and add cheap oil but if you want to stick 10k on the car then make sure you do it with premium oil. This could of been with any dealer though. So best do the proper checks.
  3. i still had heat, so left it, but unless i had it right down or all the way up it would make a juddering noise. I stuck my head underneath centre consol and looked up to the heat controller to see it moving, so maybe you can try and see if you can see it moving if you adjust the temperature. But you see the rear ones may have their own... not sure, if the rear gets warm them it could be the front actuator.
  4. a lot of part numbers in the Guides Area here
  5. Oil will run a similar temprature, because its 40 deg outside doesn't really make the oil any hotter. The the right grade then also most importantly specification. For my 3.5 I have 5w30 with A5 specification. Its not just all about Grade.
  6. Come to think of it, my actuator used to make noises on my ANH10 Alphard. So this could be the option too. But i do wonder if the rear heating is run from the same actuator??
  7. yes it can be an option but we need someone to take lead of this part of the event, especially someone who will be staying there as well. Once we have all these options we can start announcing them
  8. The castle Coombe meet is not owned by us, thats a facebook group.
  9. I recently bought a 3.5 but with a really good interior. They did the usual buffing of the paintwork which i am now going to get a 2 stage detail as they did a crap job, however i will get it showroom condition once i get a small pin dent sorted. I could also smell my carpets had been washed, however, I am not bothered about these as I make Alphard mats so will be stripping these out and installing tailored Axminster very soon.
  10. lol.. the whole point of using the right foot is so you do not have the foot on the accelerator at the time of braking. Also if its that delayed then that person is driving way too fast.
  11. I dont trust my guage, yesterday it said i had quarter of a tank but could only manage to get 38 litres in. However, that still cost me £75
  12. Saw the new Lotus Emria on top gear had the 2JZ engine, wow what a sound.
  13. To be honest, keep looking. You can find grade 4 or 4.5 for reasonable money. The car has to reflect how the last owner looked after it, not a quick go over and a glug of mazola. It's frustrating and time consuming but the right car will come through. Btw, where did you see the car??
  14. I had the same problem with my report. Maybe that just shows when it was reported.
  15. Are you sure its the actual sensor? there is a passenger sensor in the front seat that will chime if a passenger is not wearing a belt and that could have a fault that needs a new buckle? Do you get anything on the dash to suggest rear sensor?
  16. Basically when the pad starts to wear down you will hear a a high pitch squeel when braking.
  17. Not electronic ones. The pads have a audible wear indicator
  18. good place to put it. But better in the fridge
  19. yes, allows members to focus only on the area that is of interest.
  20. We have made some forum alterations to split up the 2 generations of Alphard so we can target more relevancy for members plus the ability to view the members car model under their names. This allows you to understand which Alphard model they are driving. If you have a 20 Series then you can post all your questions related to the 20 series here: https://uk.alphardclub.com/forums/forum/6-toyota-alphard-vellfire-club-forum-2008-2015/ You will also find this available on the front of the forums for easy access.
