  1. Does anyone know how to go about removing the mirror from the rear spoilers? It's the last thing on my to-do list for the Alphard now the roof, rock and roll bed and floors all done. Cheers in advance!
  2. All free to collect, all carpets have been chucked but got all the seat belts! Can post for cost.
  3. Hi All. We are coming towards the end game of our camper conversion for our 2006 Alphard. Our Alphard is a 7 seater consisting of 2 single seats in the very rear and a middle row of 3 in a 2+1 configuration. We have the below parts for sale. I am located in Manchester and am willing to post and also for people to collect if local to me. 1 Rear Drivers side seatbelt 1 Rear Passenger side seatbelt 1 Middle row Drivers side seatbelt 1 Middle row Passenger side seatbelt Beige top carpet in immaculate condition Base underlay carpet (above insulation layer) Not asking silly money for these just let me know if your interested. I will post photos later. Cheers. Mark
  4. Hi All, I'm after some advice about the best way to go about removing the seats and rails in my 1st Gen 2006 Alphard. I have sold them and the job for the weekend is to get them all removed along with the rails, I have got a rim removal set, socket set and spanner set which covers 3mm-14mm sockets and spanners. Any tips or tricks for removing these would be greatly appreciated such as the best way to approach, which ones to remove first and so on. Thanks in advance all! Cheers Mark
  5. Here you go! The only 1 issue is, the left hand arm rest needs a refurb/replacement.
  6. No trouble mate, I'll get them up shortly. Are you just after the seats or the rails also?
  7. Over the next few weeks I am going to be removing the middle seats, rear seats and rails from my 2006 7 seat Alphard to make way for a solid floor before I do the conversion. Bit of a long shot, is anyone after a set? I'll chuck some photos up of them later, they are the cream/beige colour and in darn good condition. I'm based in Salford, Manchester.
  8. Hi All! Me and my partner are seriously considering getting our 2005 2.4 converted to LPG mainly due to the cost saving but also due to it being cleaner, greener and offers extended driving range with LPG and Petrol. Has anyone on here had experience with the STAG system? Can you recommend it or advise accordingly? I have been quoted £850 fitted from a firm in Deeside which seems a very good price considering I have been quoted £1200 for a PRINS system elsewhere. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Mark
  9. Hi All! I am planning to attempt and fit a solid floor to our 2005 Alphard once I've removed all the seats and carpets once the clocks change at the end of March. I am wondering if anyone has done this and has any tips and tricks/do's and don'ts on doing this, I know there are multiple bolt points for the floor rails which would be good to utilise as I really don't want to screw into the metal floor. I know you need to use a product like Dodomat before laying a 12mm ply floor. Any help is greatly appreciated! Many thanks, Mark
  10. That's awesome mate thanks. Exactly what I was after. How did you go about permanently attaching it to your Alphard?
  11. Can anyone recommend an awning they have fitted or have had fitted in the past to their Alphard please.
  12. This is also a useful link, outlines the data for the DVLA being even more useless than ever in terms of approving re-classification requests. https://climbingvan.co.uk/van-life/reclassifying-your-campervan-dvla/ In terms of a cheap and cheerfull sun canopy/awning rail... can you or anyone else recommend any?
  13. Thanks for the heads up on this one. My understanding was that for it to be classed as a 'Motor Caravan/Home' in the DVLA/VOSA's eyes it had to meet the criteria outlined here; https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/registering-a-diy-caravan/converting-a-vehicle-into-a-motorhome Cheers for the heads up though. I was after something like this that would slide into a rail that's fixed to the side of the alphard.
