  1. Hi, I was in similar position at some point. Few questions to answer. Are you fussy about the vehicle age? Yes Then go to Gen 2, if not proceed to Gen 1 face lift 3.0(5 speed gearbox) unless doing short runs then 2,4 gen 1 any year you like. If you get Gen 2 go for 3.5 (6 sp auto gearbox)unless you really use van on short distance in the city. 2.4 gen 2 has CVT gearbox which is something that some people complain about. Best advice is to go for the nearest dealer and have a drive in each to compare. Cheers Lukasz
  2. Hi pocus, Do you have any photos of that tank setup, especially the additional tank across the car. Cheers Lukasz
  3. Ok, good to know. There is no magical oil that lasts without a change. Fingers crossed for the fruitful battle with the garage.
  4. Hi Lee, Sorry to hear that. Out of interest what kind of oil you have been using, your oil service intervals seems quite short. Fingers crossed for flush, it feels like driving 100 miles with engine flush in seems excessive usually is only for period of time like 30 mins. Thanks Lukasz
  5. Hi Graham, I would personally go for 6-7k oil change intervals, so in your case twice a year. Use some good engine oil and replace it often. You can actually find a sticker, under a bonnet in Japanese and use Google translate to translate photo to English. Cheers Lukasz
  6. Hi Thom, Any joy finding anyone? I ma on the market for the roof rack nowish. I used to choose Thule for my vehicles but can't find Thule feet for Alfie anywhere
  7. Hi Mariusz welcome on the forum. Regards Lukasz
  8. Hi All, To happy Alphard owners. I have joined the forum quite some time ago even before I got my Alphard 2005 3.0 face lift and I love. Have a good day.
