  1. Oh wow...so the Londis place under the arch no longer supplies petrol.....that's a pity
  2. Mine is also a 2005 face-lift model and I have seen a good post on this site with fuse locations so will check that out again for clarification on where the fuses for the lights are.....the strip i have is also designed to do indication flashes too so needs a bit of further investigation on how that will be achieved too.
  3. Ahh.....so when I find out which fuse supplies the lights....I can tap that for the under bonnet LED light strip.
  4. That's the ones I mean.....I was wondering whether to use these fit the LED light strip but thinking about it..... I'm not sure that the light would only come on when the lights were turned on or just the ignition.....I think it may be the case that the strip will be powered when the ignition is turned on.
  5. Has anyone used fuse taps for adding things like LED light strips. Is this an option or best to tap into the wiring itself at the lights?
  6. Just renewed our insurance for our 2005 Alphard with Adrian Flux again. As ours is a day van with 7 seats, sink, single hob cooker and a pop top roof, the premium for this year is £269....up £14 on last year so no complaints here.
  7. I'm looking at replacing the front fog bulbs with LED and hoping for recommendations from members that have replaced theirs.
  8. That is a very impressive addition....looks amazing. We had our bonnet wrapped to our own design and have side graphics....we've got to do what we feel is right for ourselves to make the van "ours". Well done - great choice of contrasting colour.

  12. Thats how it reads Roger....the other car will give an insurance payout and they are left with the current unconverted Alphie that they are not too happy with, that has niggly bit and pieces.
  13. We have a 2006 2.4 Alphard and we have the grab handles in the front for driver and passenger. Alasdair Auchtermuchty, Fife
  14. Than you for the informative replies. We have just joined the Caravan and motorhome club and looking forward to some summer breaks using their sites 👍
  15. Has anyone got suggestions/recommendations for a reputable Motorhome/Campervan club. For the most part, joining one of these can save more than the cost of the annual fee and just wondering what people's thoughts/experiences are on this subject.
  16. Yes....the dealer that imported for us had this fitted for my motorbike trailer
  17. I would not be at all surprised if the blinking odometer is a result of tampering with the figure..... adjusting/resetting is illegal and probably why it started blinking after the alteration.
  18. I agree with Setuffo that there must be something about the rail causing this issue
  19. When it's been sticking have you de-selected the power door button on the dash?
  20. Mine is also Gen1 AH10 and have this unit that I keep with the main key which may be why the buttons unlock the car.
  21. I also have the buttons on the driver's door and tailgate .....pressing these activates only locking the van for me. If already locked the buttons don't unlock the van but holding the handle does. Alasdair - Fife
  22. Hi Michael....I'll need to check the details of the head unit I have to see if it's compatible for digital
  23. The reception for the radio on the new head unit is not optimal as it is currently utilising the in built antenna in the rear side window. Has anyone got suggestions for a better replacement and where it can be positioned. We have a pop top roof.
