A normal petrol type I may consider but it has to have a foolproof service history and conditions...All I am seeing these days are desperate posts about head gaskets and sorts...meaning that those advertisements saying that low milage and wonderful and hardly used are just lies...

I know, I just had to send the PDF for them. I knew it would be. But sadly I had to sell it 2 days ago. Way less than what it's worth...broke my heart...The greatest joy it was and the greatest stress and more disappointment than any car in my life...the amount of worry, sadness and stress I experienced with this one is and it was excruciating.

this document is something that I got in 2021. The car was imported in 2019 and I bought it from the dealer. Every government-issued paperwork is recognised in the UK. I have not tried or used any of it as I didn't need to register the car as ULEZ. There isn't any government in this whole wide world that would not recognise manufacturer-issued government-approved paperwork. You Guys are really champions of doom days saying and no positive support aren't you? Under what assumption would you say what you said, I have no idea.

Mine is the latter version, the colour code is Olive green metallic. The main and most important difference probably is that I paid 400 pounds fair and square for the Japanese DVLA, the government department for the COC which is black and white undeniable evidence that the car is euro 4.On top of that the Austrian vehicle licence agency also tested and checked my car and classified it as an EURO 4 vehicle. I was there for a 7 month assignment and you can only drive a foreign car for a month. I had to go through the whole miserable process but I also have documentation from them stating it is an EURO 4 petrol and Hybrid vehicle. This is why I am annoyed out of my head...if anything would be short, if I wouldn't have everything in place I would definitely say that it in not sure and it is not the case, but it is the opposite, I have more registration and more official papers than anybody I know owning these vehicles...

LW55 CFL, this website says it is ULEZ compliant https://ulez.co.uk/you-dont-need-to-pay-ulez/?vrn=LW55CFL, yet TFL says differently. TFL rules and requirements state that the vehicle needs to be a EURO 4 Petrol or Hybrid , My V5C states it is an Elec-Hybrid, plus I have a COC which TLF wants as such as evidence from the Vehicle Manufacturer and from the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Homologation Certificate from the Homologation Department. I have all this, yet this guy still doesn't believe that it is ULEZ.

Can you please confirm, any of you that it is a ULEZ Exempt vehicle? My firm believes it is, but I have a buyer who is hesitant. It really is doing my head in.

Hi Guys, I am still struggling with getting my Hybrid back in order. The car is at my mechanic for 5 weeks now. He put most of the car apart and yet not found a problem. We took it to the local hybrid service where after the reading which we have not witnessed they come up with a quote for a price of a new import from Japan. I know one hybrid mechanic who is very good and I learned to trust him over the months of struggle(he lives too far and is way too busy to come and help)he also said that it is ridiculous. A car as mine, with practically no use behind 113000 Km would not be in a state of that quote. What I need is a mobile service guy, who is tried and trusted, firmly on the ground with charges as such for the service to come and take a look at the van. The car is driveable, we drove it over to the "hybrid service " We took it many trial drives after a section was taken apart cleaned and tested it just always shows up after a while with the error codes. Or please recommend somebody or a company who would buy it as it is for a fair price. Or exchange it for a petrol model I am fine with that as well. Please help as it is practically eating me alive. Thank you ever so much!

Thank you! I am broken-hearted my son is more so. I cannot exist without a car, as a single parent it is even harder I can assure you. Work and basics for my son, such as school runs and shopping and all was depending and relied on this car. We has wonderful times and trips when it was working but now it is nothing but stress. I talked to all local garages including Toyota, nobody is willing to take it. The only hybrid specialist gave us 7 week waiting period just to look at it and see what can be done. So there is pressure and hardship, and there is this. Apart from all thank you and that is coming from heart.

Thank you for the advice, The things I already tried... I am stressed out...how can a car which is well-designed and runs practically nothing create so much *********** it is beyond me... I have also worked out that the tyres were on the wrong pressure and that is giving an error message because of the levelling sensor when I put the pressure right the car started and worked until it happened again. I mean the ****, key in key out start not start and when it starts then it drives but I cannot have an unreliable car for us.

Hi Guys, I have a problem hopefully something which can be resolved fast and easy. 2005 Toyota Alphard Hybrid It starts and than you can drive about 200 m and than stopes.Than you wait start again same thing happens. Than I started and waited, the engine was running and charged up the hybrid battery to the 3 green bars and stopped again. I have an iSoft reader which is not the most advance but gave me some codes: -C1213 HV SYSTEM COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT -P3002 HV SERIAL COMMUNICATION -P1636 HV ECU MALFUNCTION So what do you guys think? What can be done?

I do not think GPS will work here. The rest can be worked out with google translate on your phone. Mine has a different head unit. I did it with google translate personally. If it is not a hybrid vehicle then you are better off getting a UK head unit installed than Bob's your Uncle.

Hello Rioje, I know Ben and I have had deals with him already. I was hoping for a more local solution. Regardless if we have to we will drive down to Birmingham. I am almost certain we have a Toyota dealer around here in Cambridge. I am also interested in the people's experience around here in this area. I had a very knowledgeable and good garage where we came from. That I will miss. They were not on the cheap side but, had no lies, no BS and full help with guaranteed quality work.

Hi All, can somebody tell me what to buy, what dongle or a 'USB plug-in device' I can plug into my Head Unit so I can have my iPhone displayed on my Alphard's head unit? I am so crossed that I cannot find one specific item being shown and mentioned that I can buy and use to make this happen. I know that at home in the UK there are places I can go to get it done but we are living in Austria so for me to go home right now is not an option. I have asked the ones who make this retrofit or how you call this. They simply refused to tell me what to buy and which device can do this. So is there anybody here who knows and can help me by giving me the name of the device that does this? Thank you very much!
