  1. Hi Chris, Sorry to bother you, please could you also send me the link to the version you have on AliExpress? I have installed Car Scanner, but I think the OBD device I have is pretty ancient and I can't get it to play nicely. Many thanks, Dave
  2. I bought the Techstream kit off eBay and a pair of keys from yahoo Japan auction months ago and still haven't got round to sorting them yet. thank you for posting your findings, I'll give it a go this weekend.
  3. Sorry to reopen an old thread, but is it possible to retrofit the wing mirror camera? For example, I am looking at possibly buying the passenger wing mirror with the camera built in and what i presume is the camera switch for the right hand side of the steering wheel (pics attached). Would anything else be required to get it working like extra wiring etc? I have already retrofitted the rear foglight equipped stalk and I'm keen to add more retrofitted equipment where possible
  4. Hi guys, I have a 2009 Alphard and I have found a listing on Japanese yahoo auctions for a widescreen screen from a 2010 Vellfire. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable with the older square version without too much hassle? I'd like to upgrade my screen and this option, if feasible, would be ideal.
  5. I've noticed that Autodoc list parts for various Alphard and Vellfire models. I have bought parts from them before for other vehicles but not my Alphard. Delivery can take a few days though so if you're in a rush perhaps not the best option.
  6. Old thread I know, but someone may find the information as useful. They aren't OEM Toyota but I have just fitted a set of Bola FLY alloys. They're 18x9" ET38 and in my option fill the arches nicely and I have no rubbing going on even with the vehicle lowered on coilovers. The alloys are also very lightweight at approximately 8.5KG each (lighter than my Enkeis!).
  7. That is absolutely stunning! I looked at the Japanese auctions for ages trying to find a good purple Alphard/Vellfire but couldn't find one. That is very nice, you must be pleased with the results!
  8. Pictures of my Alphard
  9. welcome to the forum
  10. That looks fantastic! Congratulations on the purchase, enjoy ๐Ÿ˜€
  11. thanks guys, I managed to buy a translated manual from ebay a couple of weeks ago for a bargain price
  12. Thank you. I bought it through jpctrade.com who give you access to the auctions in Japan and then after leaving a deposit you can bid on the auctions. I imported my Evo 6 through them in 2016 and they have been really good. I am hoping that when it arrives it looks as nice in the 'flesh' as it does in the pictures I have of it
  13. When my Alphard arrives from Japan I will be looking to have the speedo and odometer converted. I found this company online who say they offer both services: https://www.ncs-systems.com/canm8-k2m-1072.html Has anyone heard of them or used their services?
  14. That's something I'll definitely bear in mind, we love our euro trips and are definitely looking to take our Alphard around Europe next year ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. I hope it's a good system, any feedback would be much appreciated. I think by the sounds of it any solution which allows you to keep the standard head unit seems is a good thing ๐Ÿ˜Š
