  2. My dash odo and Speedo are converted to miles and it has done the consumption also, so mine is saying 6km/l but I'm getting 28mpg calculated fill to fill.....that's 6m/l, so if yours is the same then you are getting the same as me.....although mines an na 2.4 not a hybrid.
  3. I had something very similar in a Volvo years ago
  4. Agree hybrids are essentially rubbish unless you spend most of your time in stop start low speed traffic where regen can charge the battery, on a longer run you are mainly carrying extra weight that is not "paying" for itself. I had plenty of 1.9/2.0 TDI vag products and they were all close to or better than 70mpg on a run, no hybrid will get anywhere close. If the use case is lots of longer journeys and fuel economy is of concern, derv wins by some margin.
  5. No but I'm going for one of those usb sockets
  6. I can't see how series 10 cars are worth what some dealers are asking, that one isn't perfect and it's very strong money so I wouldn't entertain it. Seen better used for sale at less money rather than fresh imports.
  7. I have a multi meter and the socket shows zero but I need to pull the centre console to get to the back of the socket to fault trace......
  8. Actually if my maths is correct the dash is showing miles per litre, the lower part of the display has been converted to miles, I will have to check if it's done the top from a numerical perspective
  9. Topped up 41.2l of super took us 267 miles. 29.4mpg. dash showing 6.4l per km, so massively inaccurate dash reading
  10. Just realised my cig lighter socket isn't working, checked the fuse in the driver's side footwell (what a terrible design to Access) and it's fine, before I start ripping the dash apart.....any common issues to look for. I'm gonna pull the dash and check for power at the socket as check 1........
  11. I will go and brim it shortly and do the real calc. I topped it off yesterday then did a 280mile round trip, looks to have used pretty much 75% of the tank on the guage. Rough guide would be therefore c.45l of the total 60l capacity of the tank to do 280miles, is going to be high 20s to the gallon.....let's see! To be frank I don't pay much attention to mpg, the vellfire is not my most thirsty car, for taking loads of people and stuff down a motorway though, it's pretty much unbeatable
  12. You are correct lol
  13. 2.4 na velfire non hybrid, I get 5km/l local running around, 6.5km/l on a motorway run with the cruise at 68mph, that's 23mpg and 30mpg respectively, and not trying. Imagine I could probably get to 24 local running about if I tried, so I would guess something isn't right if yours is a hybrid.
  14. This was on an S20 vellfire
  15. My stalk was bust so I changed it for another yesterday, 5 minute job, 2 torx screws to remove the airbag, 2 Philips screws hold the stalk in and one plug. Couldn't be easier.
  16. Reviving an old thread. Anyone have a recent conversion done In Yorkshire? I had a Volvo converted a few years ago by a chap in Wakefield but I wasn't overly happy about it. Looking for other recommendations to convert our 2.4 vellfire. Cheers!
