  1. Hi, Can anyone offer advice on the easiest way to replace the rear wiper blade? Looks impossible with it hidden away in the spoiler and it always self parks.
  2. Do all Alphards have the speaker grill in the centre of the dash, under the windscreen even if they have the 8 speaker system, ie no extra amplifiers? I have the centre dash grill but I can only see 8 speaker grills along the sides, fairly low down. There are none on the roof. I have a plug from the origional head unit with four pairs of wires. I get approx. 8 Megs resistance across each pair, any ideas anyone what they could be?
  3. Does anyone have any advice to give regarding removing the passenger side A pillar trim panel to fit a DAB radio antenna? The things I am wondering about are the air bag and how difficult it is to remove with it having two legs, one each side of the small triangular quarter light window.
  4. Where do I find these two bolts?
  5. I have found a company called Universal Seatbelts who sell an extender for £14.50 inc p&p. The dimentions of the tang are the same as my Land Rover Freelander 2 extender which fits my 2011 Alphard.
  6. Has anyone bought a seat belt extender? The American company I have used before (seatbeltextenderpros.com), doesn't list the Alphard. I'm intending to look at some other Toyotas to see if the seat belt tang is the same, but if anyone else has already been down this road, advice would be welcomed.
  7. I have four cameras. Rear, each door mirror and front grill. The only two connectors that are not off white are grey and although separate at the head unit, join further back and dissapear into the same loom. There are white wraps around the cable ends but no writing is visable. No worries, I can connect my new rear camera to the Pioneer head unit and live without the other cameras. I'm starting to think my car is different to everyone else's. lol
  8. Mine has a red strobe torch stowed there.
  9. Many thanks, that will keep me busy for a while 🙂
  10. I don't have a blue connector to the head unit. Should there be one?
  11. I;m mainly looking to identify the speaker cables and if possible, the steering wheel controls. Everything else I can live without. Id be very grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction.
  12. A lot of connectors shown but none of them appear to be anything like the connectors on the back of my Panasonic 86100-58100 head unit. Most of the connectors are plain white with a couple of grey ones. It's a late 2011 240 Alphard.
  13. I had a look at the photos of the connectors on the Aliexpress link and the only one that looked anything like any of the sockets on my Panasonic head unit is the FM arial and I already have that one.
  14. I have removed the origional head unit and found that the wiring connections are unique and not labled. I'm happy to sacrifice the additional cameras and steering wheel controls. I just want uk sat nav and DAB radio. This is the origional Panasonic head unit. Are there any experts out there who can advise me what the pin out connections are. I think I just need to connect in an ISO connector whilst keeping everything backwards compatable, unless adaptor cables are available. The additional antennas and even a replacement reversing camera can be connected directly to the new Pioneer head unit. So far I have not been able to find and reference to this particular head unit anywhere online. Also, I assume Alphards are not fitted with OBD sockets as I've not been able to find one anywhere. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
