  1. Thanks Chris, Amazon has quite a few, I'll have a mooch later and order one. Cheers Pete
  2. Hi all, Is there anyway to change the sensitivity of the auto lights? I can be driving down a country lane with overhanging trees and my lights will be turning on/off with the slightest bit of shade. I've had an android system fitted so not original. Cheers Pete
  3. Evening all, does anyone have any advice on using premium engine oil over Toyotas own recommended? I have a 2012 Vellfire and want to keep it in tip top condition but am I throwing away money on the more expensive stuff? Pete
  4. Mine arrived yesterday, so just over a week for delivery, fitted today, took no more than 10 mins to fit with the help of my son holding up the door 🤣 Door now lifts itself all the way to the top after an initial pull, so much easier although it wasn't a problem, just nice that the struts now do the work. 👍🏻
  5. I paid £37.10 inc delivery, a good price. My rear door doesn’t drop but I have to help it open all the way, not a problem but it’ll be nice for it to open itself with an initial push.
  6. Do you guys have the exact link for these struts on Ali? I've looked and there seems to be several listed. Pete
  7. Thanks everyone, yep the front dash mat was covering the sensor, getting to learn what all these bits and pieces do on the car with the help from this forum 👍 Pete
  8. 😆 I recently bought a dash mat, thought the dome thing was a GPS, I'll go test it now with the mat 👍🏻
  9. I've got an Android system fitted and I've definitely not touched any of the settings.
  10. I fitted a dash cam, as stated on a previous post I was going to hardwire it by piggybacking a fuse with a kit I bought but in the end I just used a lead to connect to a usb for power. Where are the sensors located? are they the four blocks on top of the screen? if so the only thing I think I could of done is dislodge something while pushing the dash cam lead behind the linings? Pete
  11. My auto headlights have stopped working, has anybody else had this problem and how did you rectify it ? cheers Pete
  12. Bought a hardwire kit from Amazon and will attempt tomorrow to piggy back the Cig lighter fuse on the drivers side fuse box, looks like the best route to take.
  13. Bought a cheap dashcam, basic, front only but want it hard wired rather than using the cigarette lighter socket. What’s the best route to take? ANH20 2008-20015
  14. You basically have to turn it on and turn off the engine when it's in the vertical position, took me a few times to get it right.
  15. Yep still can’t work out how such a small part can create the noise generated 🤷‍♂️
  16. All good, rattle/knocking gone, the damper as you can see was pretty bad.
  17. Mines going in on Friday 10th for the damper, hoping it resolves the problem.
  18. Good luck, keep us posted how you go 👍🏼
  19. Thanks Chris for your generous offer, the garage that did the steering rack has offered to fit the part for me but really appreciate the offer. Pete
  20. Appreciate your opinion 👍🏼
  21. Japanese Auction sheets states 89640km - 55699 miles, MOT states 55722 but when I picked it up milage was approx 300 miles lower 6 months after the MOT with no advisories, what's it done in 6 months? be interested to read your opinion, or am I just being paranoid? Pete
