There is a second lambda sensor further down the exhaust - best to have the car on ramps for that, so it could be that, though I would expect a code to indicate the issue.
Other things to check are the air filter, MAF, coolant levels and, just in case, the battery connections.
As the temps are warmer get a JOBD compatible scanner (check the forums for suggestions), read, note down and then clear any existing codes, go for a drive - at least 10 mins to get it warmed up and when the EML lights up try the scanner again.
I'm sure others will be along with suggestions but if temperatures are the key then this time of year gives plenty of testing opportunities.
