  1. After extensive looking (i.e. camera, pipe cam and pulling trims etc off). I found that you need to remove the whole centre console lower dashboard to get those screws. So i've decided to make my own from the Amazon standard vent cup holders. I bought these CupHolders , Next I remove the air vent clips, put a 4mm drill bit through the retaining back plate and then through the old cup holder cover/pull arm. feed some 4mm threaded screws through (like faceplate screws) then bolt them on. No more brittle plastic and doesn't cost me over £60. Will post pictures onec I've done it.
  2. Thanks! I'm going to tackle fixing my power sliding door next. I actually managed to successfully fix and wire the rear power boot before this, so I'm ready for the next challenge
  3. Thank you

Thanks Gamith, I don’t think it is that part but will use the diagram to try and identify it. It looks like it slots in the top and just runs the width of the van bending round at each end.
  5. Thanks Charlie, I’m familiar with that product, will check it out and see if they have one in black.
  6. While driving my 2007 alphard hybrid camper van conversion there was a loud bang and a steam like vapour was emitted from below the drivers seat. I took it to my toyota garage and they changed the main battery below the central console but didnt look at the auxilliary battery below the seat. I was able to drive home but after leaving the van for 5 days everything was dead and even a jump start to the main battery did nothing. I checked the auxilliary battery and found it hs only 5 volts left. I assume I will need to replace it with a new 12v AGM S55D23R-B 57Ah 430 A version. Does anyone know where I might get a replacement in London UK and whether when I refit it should I do further checks on the electrics. Here is a photo of the battery that failed
