We sure would, we would need a campsite with electric hook-up that would let us use a noisy oxygen concentrator all night and accept delivery of oxygen cylinders! If not guess it'll be travelodge again ☹️

Love to join a convoy.🦆🐖🕷

Would there be anywhere at the meet that I could get a power supply to run hubby's oxygen concentrator?

Show & shine would be fun, not that our camper is normally clean or shiny living 50 feet from a railway line for diesel trains and carrying mobility scooter and allotment gear, but happy to give it a go for a laugh.

Well this certainly gained more traction than my post last weekend! Well done folks…

I like the sound of this. Would go for the convoy, will raise a few eyebrows I think! The show and shine wouldn't be for me. Our Alphard is used for everything but I will throw a bucket of water over her before hand. Might go for the camping. Will give me a chance to use the curtains that I've been carrying around since we bought this one in 2016.

Great idea, would poss join a convoy but really good to meet other owners & find out how they are getting on etc. Ours is a camper so also interested in staying over.

I'm well up for it!

What would be really amazing would be to have some areas where you can "ask an expert"

How about also an auto jumble/ parts and accessories sales?

Cheers!

Normally, a big Yes! from us, but sadly we're in France until October.  But I'll keep my eye on this post.  Thanks.

Yep, I’m definitely up for that, give me chance to meet other Alphard owners and also show off my newly converted Alphard.

Hello,

I would be interested, had our Alphard a few months, so plenty to learn!
Based in Leicestershire, so easy location for us.

Hi Guys & Gals

I have been thinking about setting up a large meet for Alphard and Vellfire owners. I have quite a bit of experience with car meets and think it will be a good idea to gauge the interest here.

So here are some ideas i have, please feel free to have some input.

Location

I have run many of a meet at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, I am going to be contacting them as it's been a number of years since i have run 100+ vehicle car meets there. They have changed slightly. The reason for this location is that it's on the M40, located between London and Birmingham, accessible from the south west, South east, midlands and east of the country as the motorway makes it a very easy location.

Pre-meet

Idea of running a small convoy from one of the service stations on the M40 both sides of the motorway (coming in london side and also birminham side) in to the event, which should make a cool impact and great photo opportunity.

Museum

Access to the museum (at a reduced cost price) and cafe area.

Show and Shine

Possibly look at show and shine competition for the most shiniest Alphard inside and out. Opportunity to win an award

Meet up with the community

As this will be our first event in this club, it would be great to meet other like-minded owners, get insight and talk all about each others Alphard.

Campsite Invade (idea from Oldwellhouse)

Mass Alphard Camper pitch-up before or after the event for those who have campers (i guess Tents would also be good too)

So the main question is

1. Would you be interested in attending a meet near Warwickshire in September?

2. Do you have any ideas that could improve the meet?

3. Would joining a convoy in interest you?

4. Does show and shine competition interest you?

Look forward to your comments.

Hi i'll be ther.

YES YES YES YES!👍 Ian so pleased that this meet is potentially/hopefully going to happen. Funnily one of my first posts on the forum was exactly this idea. I'm 100% up for this. Not sure about the show n shine as mine has a few little scratches. It does clean up nice though. Camping would be fab, convoy would be great especially from South Wales(Swansea). If anyone has a drone with a camera that would be great to see all our Alphards/velfires. Also as stated previously- an expert (mechanic) who knows!. I will have to see what I'm working that month as I work in a university and our new term starts in September. I can always go sick!!(oops) did I say that out loud.👍🐉😎🥰

I've just found out I'm on holiday from 6th to 18th. So a definite yes as long as it's anywhere between those dates.😎🐉

Yes I would like to attend & meet vendors with extras eg awning & key cutting.

I wouldn’t join a convoy

Hi, I also think this is a great idea, however I live in the Lake District and the venue is too far for me.

I wish you every success and hopefully next time, you’ll all come north into God’s country.

Would be delighted to come down from Wirral to join in the fun but unfortunately can’t do this September. Hope it’s a great success and we’ll be able to meet everyone next year.
