Unfortunately I've just separated from my wife, which has changed my car requirement significantly: I no longer need 7 seats and I'll be doing a lot more in the way of shorter journeys.

My Alphard is black, with 52k miles on it. It has twin electric doors, twin sunroofs, 7 seats (although the 7th seat is for slim people only I would say!) custom trimmed in peanut leather, a good soundsystem with oversized touch screen head unit, and a games console setup for the kids, front and rear cameras, cruise control, auto lights, AFS, the Plasmacluster Ionisation system, 20 inch wheels, and probably a load more stuff that I haven't thought of.

All new standard suspension was fitted at great expense a few months back, as the car came from Japan on coilovers which were too stiff for my liking. It's also been rustproofed by Before'n'after in Rugby, and was given a lifetime guarantee, because the condition of the car was so good.

Negatives: the previous owner must have had really acidic sweaty hands, because the leather section at the top of the steering wheel has been become discoloured. Also I've managed to scuff the alloys a bit when parking too 😞. I've also only got one key. There's a guy down Worcester way who can supply extra keys for a couple of hundred quid. I just haven't got around to driving down there to see him yet.

I'm absolutely gutted to sell it, but owning it in my current circumstances just doesn't make any sense at all, and if I'm anything, I'm boringly sensible.

I'd take £11.5k for it and I'm confident the new owner will be as happy with it as I am - it's an awesome vehicle. If there's any interest I can upload some pictures. Cheers all.

Hi Larry. I bought the suspension parts and my local garage swapped them over. There's nothing fancy about the suspension so any competent garage can change it. The money goes into getting the parts!

Hi, is this still available ? I’d be interested in seeing any pictures please - about to dip my toe into Alphard ownership but this sounds like it could be the kind of vehicle which meets my criteria.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris. Yes it is. I haven't advertised it anywhere, as I don't really want it to go because I love it so much. It just doesn't make any sense to keep it, so I'm quite torn. I'll put some photos up on the web shortly and send you a link.

Cheers,

Mark.

Hi, that was a rather brisk walkabout lol.

does the car have the following: middle seats rotate, electric drivers seat and ambient light strips in the roof?

Hi there, I'm interested as well. Looks like the walkaround video has been removed, does that mean it's sold? Thanks!
