WorkLifeBalance Posted Saturday at 05:48 PM Posted Saturday at 05:48 PM As an import my Alphard is classed as 0g of CO2 and will result in £0 vehicle excise duty/ Road Fund Tax, is this right or is there a rule that imported cars are going to hit hard by VED in April 25?

We all wish your hopes were valid, but they aren't ! So wrong. From memory, expect to pay £370 ish.
WorkLifeBalance Posted Saturday at 07:48 PM Author Posted Saturday at 07:48 PM So not too bad, thanks
Chris.ac Posted Saturday at 07:49 PM Posted Saturday at 07:49 PM It's a fixed import rate, which is considerably less than a euro equivalent. If it was categorised correctly, you'd probably be paying over £480, so don't rock the boat. 12 months for a 2010 3.5lt was £345 this month, vs £295 in 2023.
George Posted Sunday at 01:17 PM Posted Sunday at 01:17 PM How much should it be for a 2003 2.4 Hybrid

It's an import, so will fall into the same tax bracket. Although i don't open a hybrid, so i could be wrong Without an officially published emissions cert, it will be closed as an import PLG tax class 39
smurf Posted Tuesday at 08:53 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:53 PM My hybrid is the same amount as a V6 - £345 at today's prices.
