Rear rubber spring seat for Alphard 2003

Featured Replies

Hi

Im changing my suspension on my wife's Alphard 2003 back to standard . Can anyone tell me if the rear springs are meant to sit in a rubber seat or just sit into the rear beam. I can find any rear rubber seats on line. Iv been told they don't have a rubber seat? Could anyone confirm this if it is correct. Many Thanks

The only help I can offer are a couple of pictures I have taken of my 2005 rear suspension.

From what I can tell I would say that there is a rubber ring on the top mounting,. but not the bottom one.

Oh and this from amayama.com:

Which confirms and gives a part number - 48257-28060 - there are several sites that seem to have this part - looking at prices amayama is cheapest if you don't mind waiting.

I hope that helps.
