Amayama says the part number is 04466-58010 which is what's shown in your listing. Has yours perhaps had any upgraded calipers, maybe in Japan?

If you hold that pad next to the outside of your wheel, does it look the same size as your current pad?

Hi there!

I have recently changed the rear pads (myself) on our 2010 Vellfire, and I bought APEC PAD1334 from our local autofactors, which cross references to the part number on those you have pictured, and they fitted nicely.

So I would second Teds suggestion that if they don't, then your calipers have been changed prior to your ownership.

Cheers, Nev

Mechanic suggests I’m gonna need to replace calliper's, carriers and disks to get this sorted which sounds crazy to me - I ll add picks soon as i get them as pads must be available.

I ve dug into this more over the weekend and have discovered exactly that Gents, I have Sumitomo re callipers with a part number on the Pads that’s rubbed off.

We re gonna strip it down and again and take some measurements. Really dont want to replace everything to replace Pads as brakes work great.

I ll share some images on this chat later.

Anyone here had pads refurbished as I beleive that’s possible these days although have never had it done.

Ooh heck! Ah well, can be sorted!

Before now, a long time ago on an import Impreza, back in 2000, I took thepads out, and drew round them, and went into the autofactors. Easily sorted for someone behind the counter assuming they can be bothered!

Yeah - plan to take Exisiting Pads out and measure them etc - Good idea outlining with a pencil 👌

Digging around suggests that Sumitomo is a supplier to Toyota, so it's possible those are OEM pads, or they could be aftermarket.

It seems that Advics is a consortium of Toyota, Denso, Sumitomo and Aisin, and they make both OEM and aftermarket parts. They have a Japanese website:

株式会社アドヴィックスセールス ADVICS SALES CO.,LTD.

株式会社アドヴィックスセールス ADVICS SALES CO.,LTD.

and it could be worth poking around there looking for clues.

At the very least measurements off the existing pad may give you something to go on.

Also, while you've got it that far, maybe take the discs off and measure those too?

Then you'll have the information forthe future, when you need them!

Was hoping CHAT GPT might be able to find them but keeps going back to standard OEM pads which do not fit.

How tall is it including the loop at the top?

https://size.name/en/catalog/brake_pads?length=96

finds some of the right shape, but they're 62mm tall. That appears to include the loop.

Searching on the Blueprint part number ADT342125 brings up a series of matches:

https://www.simplycarparts.co.uk/products/adt342125

and on the Toyota part number 04466-50100 leads to the Brembo part P 83 059:

https://www.bremboparts.com/africa/en/catalogue/pad/P_83_059

which has a drawing. If I overlay that on your picture it looks a touch smaller but would maybe fit?
Anyhow, someone is selling the Blueprint part on ebay for £9, so perhaps worth a punt?

OOH!!!

Twin opposed piston solid caliper - very definitely upgraded!!

And VENTED rear discs too!!

On that note, I would absolutely be looking at your front brakes - I'd bet they are not standard!! Single piston sliding caliper is the standard on the front, as well as the back!

Thanks all for your feedback back and wisdom - very much appreciated - After a lot of faff we managed to cross reference some parts and did indeed confirm the part upgrade is from Lexus LS460. Fancy. The Brembo part numbers P83059 should anyone else have the same upgrade

Front brakes are next and yes @Nev The disks are deffo vented so likely of the V8 Lexus as well.

Thanks again all.

Cracking!! Got a result, marvellous! And yeah very fancy upgrade! I hope you also managed to get the part numbers for the discs for the future!

The front discs are vented on the standard ones, but that caliper, from what little I could see of it, is definitely not!!

I guess it's a multi piston solid caliper, am I right?
