  1. I believe the OEM units on the 20 series can have the language changed, Unfortunately, I suspect your Alpine is an aftermarket unit. Have you tried some of the Manual Library sites to locate an English version?
  2. Is your van a 10 series or 20series ? VIN number is on passenger side B pillar
  3. Hello, Just to let you know, the photos are rather small. I couldn't even magnify them on my PC
  4. They may be the same, I'd be very surprised if they are not available for the 2008 to 2015 (20 series) version.
  5. Hello Katt. As this is a Forum for Alphards and Vellfires, most of us can only speak with any authority on those. You really need to consider and understand your needs; and drive a couple at least Conversion, whilst it can be tailored to your needs will not be cheap. Budget a minimum of £5k (plus VAT). Rear conversion, side conversion, fridge, hob, basin, toilet, electrics, leisure battery. There are many choices Leadtimes can be lengthy Diy is possible if you can locate the flat pack kits. Not many attempt a scratch build on these. There are lots, and lots, of hidden hardware and features that are best left undisurbed. In my case, the twin single bed option is based on a seven seater 2006 MZ G. A major benefit is that you can use just one bed (but not while travelling), retaining the other as a seat. The middle row seats are Captains versions, although, I believe there are other single seats available. The middle row seats from a seven seater and eight seater are not compatible; as the eight seater has a one and a half seat, plus a single. On the ANH10 models many of the middle seats swivel which can be very useful; mine don't! There is a Annual Alphard Meet in Warkwickshire soon. There will be a large quantity of Alphies there and it would be a fantastic opportunity for you to see an enormous number of possible options. To conclude, the seating options are significant, and some models allow all seats to be flattened, thereby providing absolutely huge 'bedding' area Good luck with your search.
  6. 100v outlets are only good for an amp. Careful what you plug in. The front cameras, if you have them, are switched from the headunit. Again, eightseater.blog.com can help you. Good luck whichever way you go (pun intended).
  7. The main visible difference with V and G versions is the grill. Some folks prefer one, others prefer the other type. My dog? He prefers the beige leather; that way he can make a REAL mess. Fear not though, he is forced to use his waterproof hammock or walk.
  8. The Bluetooth should connect to your phone (phone willing) Try eighterseater.blog.com for the HDD type headunit
  9. Yes, some of us do. Do you have a conversion already ? Do you have a seven seater or eight seater ? Ideally, you need a seven seater. As the difference isn't always obvious, please let us all know your vehicle type number. ANH10, or something similar, its should be on your B plllar, passenger side
  10. Hello Teresa, Welcome to the Club and the Forum. Wow, That's a few questions you have here. Are you testing us all; trying to keep us all on out toes ? I have never owned a Fiat Panda; you will experience a huge difference, I am sure. An Alphard will easily accommodate two bicycles, some members transport their motor cycles. Buy a rubber mat for the bikes. I us one to prevent unnecassary mess from my beloved pooch Actually, the fuel consumption is quite good; but not, no doubt, when compared to a Panda. The engines (especially the V6s) are very torquey, so you don't need your right foot much. There is at least one thread regarding actual real life fuel consumption on this Forum. I don't think any of us have the faintest idea what will happen with fuels, emissions, ULEZ etc over the next decade or more If I had to guarantee anything, it will be that taxes will increase whatever you drive; electric / hybrid included. I humbly suggest you decide on the now, rather than what the future may, or may not, be. All the Alphies Vellfires are about the same size, and, compared to a Panda, are pretty big ! V and G are different distribution channels resulting in a few small trim differences. As with all vehicles, consider the important options, ignore the rest, buy the best you can reasonably afford and, imho get an RAC or AA report before committing to purchase. The main decision might be ready converted, or not ? I feel sure you will receive many other helpful suggestions. Welcome to our Community
  11. Hello John and Linda, 2008 was a changeover year. The former series were known as the 10 series, and the later as the 20 series. , The model number, which is on the passenger side B pillar, will distinguish which.
  12. Hello Andy, Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Alphard ownership. Enjoy your trip to Bulith. I'm sure you will
  13. Hi Chad, Welcome to Alphard ownership.
  14. There's a lot of good points. You will love it.
  15. Do you expect to prefer a side or rear conversion variant ?
  16. Hi Lee, The Owners Manuals that Picasso mentions are very good, but they don't cite part numbers. There is a part number thread on this Forum for simple service parts, otherwise you can try your luck with Toyotaalphardepc.com
  17. Hi Barry, Welcome to Alphard ownership.
  18. Hi Rick, Welcome to the Forum.
  19. Hi john, Welcome to the Forum.
  20. 3.5 ltr, 2008 on. All Alphard / Vellfire engines are petrol. Larry, Is yours the V6, as you're listed as 2.4 ltr owner ?
  21. Bug Catcher, I think. The Americans call them Snoods. Seems to have quite a few other aftermarket goodies too
  22. Hello Adam, Welcome to the Forum
  23. Hello Gordon, Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Vellfire ownership.
  24. Hi Sue, Thanks for the photo, but I have a newer unit so I doubt I can help you. There are two sonor functional units. One for reversing, which only works in reverse. One for the rear corners which works for pedestrians and very close walls (provided it is switche on!) I don't have the 'stalk' you have, but do have a car emblem to the right hand side of your Front screen button. I can see the space in your dash, but no evidence of the emblem Hopefully, someone else can come to your assistance.
  25. No. Xtrons is aftermarket unit. Can you upload a photo of your unit please so we can all identify it.
