  1. DyerNostics, Bodmin.
  2. Those front seats are amazing
  3. I believe there are two or three variants of the front 'spoiler'. Check member photos. I have a MZ G Edition which certainly has a different front end to other Alphies. You could sift through the ToyotaAlphardEPC drawings but be very thorough as there could be different brackets involved.
  4. Hello Becca, Have you resolved this yet ? Do you have the original Japanese Hand Book for the head unit ? There is one with 480 pages. From page 400, there is a section on the reverse parking guides. If you have the manual, you will need Google Translate on your phone. You can use the camera phone to read the Japanese and Google will translate it. (I don't have a smart phone).
  5. Not heard of that for the rear sonar sensors, but the warning changes with proximity. What warning are you receiving ?
  6. Hi Teekay, I don't have a link; just a recollection from memory. A search of Google or Ebay should throw up some alternatives.
  7. For those who may be interested. There is a non branded item 'identical' to this that is quite a bit cheaper. I had a Clarion set up once. It was very good indeed.
  8. Hello Rob, Welcome to the Forum.
  9. Is this from a Theatre System, or some other amplifier ?
  10. Hello Mohammed, Welcome to the Forum, Someone else had a similar problem; I'll try to find it. Are you sure you have the air con turned off ? What temp is going up ? The water temp; to a level much higher than usual ?
  11. IF a members vehicle is subject to a recall that has not been carried out Toyota UK will send a notification / request to Toyota Japan. If Toyota Japan verify the claim Toyota Japan will fund Toyota UK to do the work. I have read the approval process can take quite a while ! Toyota UK can also check through official Toyota channels whether there are any outstanding recalls.
  12. Hello Eddie, Welcome to the Forum. There are many conversion companies. As OldWellhouse says, these three you mention are all well known and reliable. Unfortunately they are not close to each other. Calder is closest, I think. NorthStar is IOW ! Are you expecting to buy ready converted ? Side or rear conversion. Pop Top ? The first questions you need to ask is "for what purpose(s) am I going to use it ?" How many people will be with me ? Dog(s) ? Will I cook in it, gas or induction ? Do I need a fridge ? If I will sleep in it, for how many consecutive nights, etc. Will I have an awning or a supplementary tent; or neither ? The Club is organising a Meet in Warwickshire in Autumn. You would learn a lot there and be able to immense variety. Good Camparding
  13. I believe eightseater,blog.com carries instruction on how to operate the Bluetooth pairing; but I think it covers Gen 1 only, and only the HDD head unit.
  14. I believe Liam is quite correct regarding the 2AZ FE engine. 2.4 litre Wikipedia is worth reading if owners are concerned. There has been discussion that E5 is not suitable for the Direct Injection variants.
  15. Take a look at Fuel Lagoon.
  16. Hello JoKIng, Welcome to the Forum
  17. Hi Ron, Welcome to the Forum
  18. No real significance. Just the distribution channel. I believe G is through the Toyota dealer network; whereas V is through another (official) network. There are detail differences with grill panels, spoilers, and other 'trim' options. try eightseater.blog.com for more details
  19. I don't think you should worry too much about the timing belt. You can always have it replaced, but a 29k vehicle should not need one. They can last forever. My local Toyota dealer suggested change at 100k miles. If the belt snaps you will be stranded, but it is a non interference engine; meaning the valves will not hit the pistons. I suggest you check whether it has a four speed or five speed gearbox. With petrol prices as they are.......
  20. Hi Dave, Welcome to the Forum. Keep you eye out in the For Sale section. Members' Alphies become available from time to time.
  21. Hi Dave, Thanks for sharing this. It should be helpful for Northern based members.
  22. I have a front (exterior) blind like this one. I can supply the brand to anyone interested. Would I recommend it ? YES. Just a bit fiddly to fit, and both doors cannot be fully opened while the blind it is fitted. But one at a time, a door can be partially opened. I think North Star on the IOW do curtain sets. Not sure about rails etc, being included.
  23. Hi, Thanks for this, all part of the knowledge bank. Quite local to me too. Not using a stainless part in drinking water is rather naughty, and extremely mean ! Flimsy table legs are common. If it is the type I am thinking, same as the one I have, a major benefit is that they can be removed and reattached to the rear of a rear conversion. Hugely beneficial when catering ! Of course, you will need a suitable rail fitted to the rear of the 'kitchen'.
