Best Battery for 3.0 Alphard 2004?
I quickly checked Halfords. The £87 Yuasa one is not the one I fitted, and according to the Tanya 'battery finder' won't fit my van. HSB005 is the one I bought, and it fits perfectly. Caution required.

Fuel
Is this thread duplicated? I feel sure I answered it already ! Copy below. Hello Andy, Welcome to the Forum. There is a long thread on this subject within this Forum. It is a contentious subject, as you will read. Yes it can, but many of us run mixed fuel, E5 and E10, or just E5. Interestingly, many owners note that their economy is better with E5. Others are perfectly happy with E10. In the end, it's your choice.

Best Battery for 3.0 Alphard 2004?
Hello Richard, I bought from Tanya Batteries. Sensible price, quick delivery, well packed. I went with a Yuasa. I'll try and find the model number, don't hold your breath ! Get the largest capacity that will physically fit in the bracket/clamp. From memory 60Amp/Hr; 600CCA. Lead Calcium. YBX5005 Yuasa Silver High Performance Car Battery 12V 65Ah HSB005. (From Invoice). Mine is the facelift model. Yours is an earlier model, check the correct fit, terminal size, and terminal orientation.

Battery Management System?
I use a CTEK on the main lead calcium battery, no harm done yet; although I do not use the restore setting. I also use it on the leisure battery when using EHU.

Hello Mike, Welcome to the Forum. I have previously written how the comfort and drivability of my 2006 V6 compares with my supercharged V8 Jaguar. The Toyota is a vehicle for sedate motoring, which it accomplishes with ease. Similarly the Jaguar, albeit with twice the horsepower and even more torque. I am not surprised with your positive comparison. Happy Alpharding.

Middle Row of Seats
I have just been looking at some photos on Autotrader. One van had the one and a half plus one middle seats. Perhaps they swivel. I looked at other vans and all seem to have the shoulder strap entering the B pillar. Are you saying on your model the shoulder strap is secured into the seat (rather than the B pillar ?

Front cup holder Alphard 2004 8 seater
Search for Spare Key on this Forum. Finding someone to programme isn't easy. Have you tried vehicle recyclers for the drink tray ? Should be available from Toyota Direct or Amayama. 55620-58010-A0 appears to be the part number (Toyotaalphardepc.com) from Amayama (eyewatering price) Good Luck

Middle Row of Seats
Hi Rob, Welcome to the Forum. It can certainly be done on the Gen 1, but the Gen 2 has different middle seats; the lounging type. Even on the Gen 1 it certainly isn't a particularly easy job. AND, if your middle seats do not have lap belts it will fail the MOT. Send me a PM if you wish to know more.
