Hi Bryan, Welcome to the Forum. I just put my registration in (2006) and it does not fit. Gen 1 owners please be extra cautious.

Hello Stephen, Welcome to the Forum. Admin, me, have not deleted this but it has been moved to a more appropriate area ! I considered General Chat; but have placed it in the relevant year section. As you have asked several questions, it will be better if the answers do not appear in the Introduction section. Many of your questions have already been discussed in the Forum. So, time for a bit of searching, and a lot of reading ! Happy Camparding.

Unfortunately, the link didn't work for me either.

Bhp on toyota alphard 2007 3 litres 4x4
Rojie replied to Laury's topic in Toyota Alphard Technical Guides
I don't know about seat covers. Mine are OEM in leather. There are plenty to choose from on ebay (from Japan). There is a service section in this Forum, and alist of common parts. Oil, filters, etc. Other than that I am sure you will get some advice shortly -
Bhp on toyota alphard 2007 3 litres 4x4
Rojie replied to Laury's topic in Toyota Alphard Technical Guides
Hi Laury, Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Aplhard ownership. 220bhp @ 5800rpm 8.6km/l (under test conditions). There is a thread on the Forum recording actual consumption by various models. 31 kg/m @ 4400rpm. Nice smooth engine, you will enjoy it. -
Model type?
Rojie replied to John Harrison's topic in Toyota Alphard & Vellfire Club Forum (2008 - 2015)
I don't think it was a joke. Remember what happened in 2011. But you wouldn't want a radioactive van, would you. The Japanese are nothing, if not meticulous and thorough. -
I just put mine on the dash; removed my windshield blackout and let the sun bake it flat. Mine is not, and will not be, fixed unless absolutely necessary as I intend to remove during winter

Potential new Alphard owner
Rojie replied to Crawfie's topic in Toyota Alphard Club Forum (2002 - 2008)
Hello Crawfie, Welcome to the Forum. Is it undersealed ? If not, you would be wise to budget to have it done. Check the MOT history on DVLA, just to be prudent. Which model are you looking at? Depending on the age of your grandchildren; check you have enough seats, seatbelts and/or ISO Fix points. Good Luck. -
Anyone know how to reset this model of head unit?

Head Unit NH3N-W57 Japanese to English
Rojie replied to J88J's topic in Toyota Alphard Club Forum (2002 - 2008)
If it is the OEM radio, you will be very lucky to receive anything other than radio 2. (Which is OK for many of us!) -
Hello Sue, Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Alphard ownership. Hopefully you will soon receive some replies that sort the issue.

Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Alphard ownership. You could try your local Toyota dealer, although most are not interested in grey imports. There is always Toyota Direct too. Try searching this Forum, as there is an increasing number of spares part numbers being listed in the section for your model.

Head Unit NH3N-W57 Japanese to English
Rojie replied to J88J's topic in Toyota Alphard Club Forum (2002 - 2008)
Hello J88J, Welcome to the Forum. Welcome to Alphard ownership. I expect you will get several replies. It is very unlikely you can change the headunit language. The GPS will not work. The Japanese system is different to the UK one. The radio is unlikely to work either. Different frequencies ! Try searching for Head Unit replacement, or Radio replacement, on this Forum. There are several headunits, and companies that fit them. Just be careful you don't lose the steering controls or cameras (if you have them). McGuard will probably be able to supply locking wheel nuts. Ensure the nuts have the correct profile for the wheels you have fitted. -
Android Head Unit
Rojie replied to Voodoo101's topic in Toyota Alphard & Vellfire Club Forum (2008 - 2015)
# Hi Alan, Is your van a 2011, or the earlier Gen 1 ? The Gen 1, according to my Owners Handbook, should return about 9.7km / litre, under test conditions no doubt. About 6 miles / litre. -
Do your front tyres have even wear. Across each tyre, and tyre to tyre ? Are the tyres the same age; there should be a date code on them. Have you hit any curbs lately? Maybe worth a trip to a tyre fitter and have the tyre wheels rebalanced.

Vehicle history check
Rojie replied to megjo2312's topic in Questions on Buying a Toyota Alphard or Vellfire in the UK.
RAC or AA did my vehicle survey. Very thorough. Found some issues where rear axle had been dropped for bush replacement and had not been reconnected correctly. Hence fault codes galore. They were all cleared pronto before sale. Very reassuring too. Your proposed vehicle seems rather old for a recent import. Be cautious. -
Vehicle history check
Rojie replied to megjo2312's topic in Questions on Buying a Toyota Alphard or Vellfire in the UK.
Hi Megjo, Welcome to the Forum, Your intended dealer should have a copy of the auction sheet when the car was exported from Japan (probably a while ago). Even if they didn't import it ! If they cannot provide it, think twice. The document should be part of the documentation trail / package. If it hasn't just been imported, and it is registered, check out DVLA. Year imported, MOT history, etc. My due diligence would start with a independent mechanics report unless, of course, you are a mechanic. Next, you should identify a person able to service / maintain your purchase, should you proceed. Most official Toyota dealers will not work on grey imports. Many UK dealers are just dealers. They are not necessarily suitably qualified or equipped to work on the vehicles. Conversions are not normally cheap, so you must ensure you have a great base vehicle. Is it undersealed ? Will undersealing it be as part of your purchase contract ? Is your proposed dealer registered for VAT? I am sure you can check for outstanding finance, but if it has only just been imported .... I am also sure you will soon receive other tips. -
Sounds like a flat battery to me. You need to try to start with minimum load, lights off, everything off. Try and charge your battery. Or use jump leads to start, and take a drive for 45 to 60 minutes; which should be enough to get some significant charge into the battery. Kwik Fit (and others) will test the battery if you can get there.

Hi Chris, Welcome to the Forum I have a 2006 V6, and the temperature needle does sit just below the mid point. This time of year I would not be surprised with such a quick warm up, the water temp is probably already 15 degrees before you start the engine. Until you become confident I would check the water level every day, engine cold of course. I cannot comment on the 'hot smell'

Some, but not all, Gen 1 machines have middle seats that swivel.

Who does this ??
Rojie replied to Bazzer1955's topic in Toyota Alphard & Vellfire Club Forum (2008 - 2015)
I don't have the same manual as you. I have the Gen 1 version. Near page 117 there is reference to the pedals. Reading mine, I think it is referring to the parking brake, but has omitted the word parking !!
