Hi Charlie, I just scanned Google for Japanese Auction Sheets, and got several hits that should get you started. Prestige Motorsport seems a good start. Hope this helps.
-
Hi again, I doubt this is clear enough for anyone to read it ! Some time ago I came across an article (in English) that explained how to read these auction sheets. I may take me some time to find it, but if I can I'll let you know. Can you read the body section where it shows and describes the 'faults' marks, dents, etc ?

Monster is correct. Looking at my manual again. The passenger side in cabin, fuse for the power slide is fuse 15, 10 Amp. It should be marked ECU IG. It is the leftmost on the lower row. It is also a mulitfunction fuse and protects the ABS, power slide door and cruise control. The tail gate is fuse 7, 30 Amp and is in the same fuse box. Middle of top row. I believe access to the fuse box needs you to remove the lower glove box, easy to do (with a video on you tube). Best wishes and good luck.
-
I assume you mean sliding doors.... The tailgate is another fuse. Try the fuse box by the drivers seat in the cabin for the sliders. Fuse appears to be second from left, bottom row. 10 Amp. Fuse location should be marked GAUGE. HOWEVER, this fuse also powers the Engine Computer, clearance and back sonors. So if the engine starts, it isn't the fuse. This info is from my English manual. But it is not clear whether this is 4 cylinder or V6. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Stuart, What engine do you have ? Fuses are different on 2.4 litre and 3.0 litre.

Great news. I am so pleased for you.

The JPNZ manual will not help you if you have the HDD head unit; but it does cover a couple of the other variants. The Japanese radio frequencies and the UK are different ! Which is one reason many install UK units. If you have the HDD unit try EightSeaterBlog.com He has produced an excellent functional guide to the HDD. All head units will need a Frequency Extender Unit to receive UK radio. Only £20 but the head unit has to come out and a switched 12v source is needed to power the Extender. Have fun !

When you switch on your car, the Japanese lady should greet you, and a Toyota logo, and Japanese characters, appear on the screen. Depending on your head unit, the open button is lower left hand side at the bottom. Pressing it should open the screen so as to look like a small tray, which it ISN'T, and the CD slot should be across the top of the facia behind the screen, and a MD unit too. As far as I can see from my JPNZ manual is that all (original) head units have a CD player. I don't see any that resemble a 'keyboard'. With the menu system (of my unit) there are many screens which look like keyboards, because they are. Without wishing to worry you, I wonder whether your unit may be 'stuck' on a menu screen. It also sounds like you may be a candidate for an upgrade to an 'English' unit. Can you upload a photo of the head unit ?

Alphard Hybrid 4WD 2006 - Remove middle seats
Rojie replied to Eric L's topic in Toyota Alphard Technical Data
I have never removed seats (yet) so cannot help you there; but, I believe, it is quite simple. Most seats will fold flat to make a flat area for sleeping, maybe not flat enough but..... -
I am interested in one of these too... And cost.
-
Afterthought Do you have the MZG edition version with leather seats and the foot rests in the middle row ? These seats will not swivel. But, I believe, the (some) Captains seats without the facility for footrests can swivel
-
Swivel seats. Please see my reply to Darren C regarding swivel seats. Are you sure the seats fitted to your Alphe are not the swivel type; many are. Does the head unit screen open and flatten ? If so, I think you will find the CD there. Mine works fine, DVDs too; but it depends on which head unit you have. You can get the radio to work for about £20. The head unit needs to be removed and a Radio Frequency Expander fitted. Most owners update to a UK unit before the lovely Japanese lady drives them crazy. I have a swivel seat in my garage, I'll check it as I think there is an activation lever. More later......
-
I am not sure, it depends on what seats you have fitted at the moment. The seven seater and eight seater Alphies have different seat rail configurations. I have a 2006 seven seater, two Captains seats up front, two Captains seats in the middle, and the usual two (wide) rear seats accommodating three people in the rear. These all fit on just 4 seat rails, plus the two on the rear wheel arches. The eight seater, with two seats up front, and one and a half seats plus one seat in the middle (and the normal three seat rear sit, from memory, on five seat rails; plus the two on the wheel rear arches Which middle seats do you have; and how many seat rails do you have ? If you have middle row Captains seats they will not swivel, and I have yet to find a way to make that happen. If you have the 8 seater, I think you will be able to get seats that will swivel, but, to state the obvious, make sure the seats are the swivel type and that you have the correct seat rail configuration ! Hope this is clear enough, and it helps you .

Welcome, the the Forum and Alphie ownership. If it is the JPNZ manual, FRO 3035, you will not be disappointed. I recommend it to any 2002 to 2008 Alphie owner

Try Toyota Direct. get the part number (if you don't have it already) from the Toyota Alphard EPC on the internet. Amayama may have it but shipping cost will be high. Let us all know how you get one.

Looking for the runner clips for the seats.
Rojie replied to MonsterS's topic in Toyota Alphard Used Parts & Accessories
Hi Monster, We had a look for them yesterday, and failed to find them. We have a huge pile of stuff to sort through and with them being so small they are proving very elusive. Really sorry I have not been able to help you yet. -

Alphard 3ltr and 2.4 Servicing Parts
Rojie replied to Alphard Club's topic in Toyota Alphard Servicing
A very useful list. THANK YOU. Toyota Direct is a very good source for genuine Toyota parts. Some Toyota dealers will help you, others won't if they know the vehicle is an import. The only down side is they require, not surprisingly, the Toyota part numbers. This list goes a long way in helping us all with that. -
Am I able to purchase these training manuals

2005 3.0L V6 power sliding door and horn issue
Rojie replied to Allrightscud's topic in Toyota Alphard Technical Guides
OK. Good. According to my manual, it is the last of the photo above. I have enlarged your photo and the fuse for the horn is the 6th from the right on the top row. Left of the EFI and left of the free space. It is marked HRZ HORN. So if it is a fuse, that's the one. Could be the horn. I don't even know where it is fitted. Sorry. Have you perhaps disturbed a wire. That's all the help I can offer you, I'm afraid. Good luck. -
Andrew, Hi, very interesting. I have just been reading Wynn's product description. Despite not believing everything I read, and being wary of marketing materials; it is an interesting product. I have not worked out the economy of this; is it cheaper than E5 ? Probably, just a hassle remembering to add it at each fill up. What is very interesting, is that Wynn's CLAIM it is OK for use in Direct Injection engines. Some Toyotas have direct injection. I know the 3litre V6 is multipoint injection; I believe the 2.4 L does too.

2005 3.0L V6 power sliding door and horn issue
Rojie replied to Allrightscud's topic in Toyota Alphard Technical Guides
I read the title again ! 3l V6. The reason I asked is that, I believe, the fuse boxes are different according to engine size ! OK, So I checked my handbook again and did find the horn fuse. According to my book it is in the large fuse box in the engine bay. (Whether 2.4 or 3 l I don't know ! It is the same fuse as used for the hazard lights, direction indicators (and horn). So should be easy to check if it has blown without knowing where it is. 20A. Fuse 7 (next to the engine computer fuse so be careful. Can you upload a photo (of the whole fuse box, lid off) to help me tell you which is fuse 7 ? I need to identify that my illustration is your fuse box. Fuse location may be marked "HAZ HORN". Hope this helps, good luck. -
2005 3.0L V6 power sliding door and horn issue
Rojie replied to Allrightscud's topic in Toyota Alphard Technical Guides
What engine do you have ? I can't find the correct fuse in the owners manual. There are many, but none are identified explicitly for the horn. Other than the door, are there any other 'electrics; not working. Maybe we can identify the correct fuse that way.
