  1. Hi Dicko, Welcome to the Forum. Are you sure it is a 2.2 ? A 2.4 perhaps ?
  2. OK, so I think I have installed the driver, but it won't run as I do not have the cable to connect to my vehicle (yet). There things are always easy when you know how. I can't take my learner plates off yet !!. Thanks for your help Nov, I am making progress.
  3. Hi Nov, Progress. I have managed to download Techstream; please don't ask how as I haven't the faintest idea ! However, I can't run it (yet) as I have to complete a configuration page and don't have all the requisite info ! Especially the repairer code Hopefully persistence will pay of; and I'll reread all that info on the link pages. Perhaps I can figure out what I have done incorrectly !
  4. Hi Nov, Thanks for this. I am no expert at these things, I tried to download Techstream from the link above. I got lots of stuff; Yandex for 1. And an unknown unzipper suite. But I didn't get Techstream. I'll try again, and again, as I would like to have the software available if I ever need it.
  5. Hi Arthur, I just tried all those links and none of them work. I read somewhere that there are various licences; None are free. The one for dealers is not expensive for a dealer. https://techinfo.toyota.com
  6. Welcome to the Forum. As this section is just for introductions, please feel free to ask as many questions as you need, but in the relevant section please.
  7. Hello Tony, Welcome to the Forum. Please feel free to ask all the questions you can, but in the relevant section. I am sure you will receive many replies.
  8. Hi Colin, My plates are 33cm wide by 18cm tall, including the GB notation. For some reason my rear plates are bolted on; not the usual UK plastic fixings. (I didn't check the front). Maybe because the holes are for Japanese plates.
  9. Hi John, welcome to the Forum.
  10. Hi Carrera, and welcome to this Forum. Toyota Direct, or try your local Toyota dealer. Some dealers, mine for example, are very helpful; others hide behind the grey import excuse.
  11. As Stutsy says, blind spot mirror. Front bumper, and nearside curb. Let me know if your eyesight is good enough to use it. My eyesight is not 40 / 40 !
  12. Hi Colin, welcome to this Forum. Are they different ? I'll measure my plates tomorrow, and let you know. Remember you cannot assign a vanity plate (year) that is newer than the year of the vehicle. I am assuming here, that DVLA will regard the year of manufacture as the key date; not the year the vehicle was imported. So 2005 in your case; but worth a quick check with DVLA if you haven't bought the vanity plate yet.
  13. Hello Louise, Welcome to this Forum. This section is for introductions only. So I'll move it to the Alphard section. Kwik Fit should be able to offer you a good selection.
  14. https://www.toyotadirect.com/ You will need the exact part number. https://toyota.epc-data.com/alphard/ You will need to know your model number and be able to read mechanical drawings. Hope this helps. Some of the major convertors will sell you parts.
  15. Toyota Direct is an option if you know the part numbers. The Toyota Alphard EPC may help you with that.
  16. Hi Mick, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. More expensive than an expander but way, way, simpler. No dash to remove, which, to me, is a very risky business ! I have checked this out on Amazon and ebay, looks great. My only question is "Does it need a phone to work ?" I think not, but hope you can confirm that. Does it need a separate aerial ? I have been looking at an Xtrons unit to fit under the passenger seat and input it through the VTR inputs.
  17. It didn't work for me either ! Search on Can the captain seats fold flat. Chris has contributed to that thread. Click on his 'box' and in the header you should have the option to Message him. Hopefully this will work for you.
  18. Type Chris.ac in the search area, then click on his 'member box' then send him a message. Sorry to be so nosey! Why do you need a circuit diagram for the speedo ?
  19. Hello Mary, Welcome to this Forum. I suggest you PM Chris.ac. He may be able to help you.
  20. Molotov cocktails to you too !
  21. They are no English language Workshop Manuals published yet for Alphards Picasso works for a company that will be selling Workshop manuals next year. There is an Owners Manual
  22. Hello Ian, Welcome to the Forum. Hopefully we, collectively, can answer any questions you may have.
  23. If you need option 1, as Nov advises, ignition on, shifter in park, press and hold unlock side of switch for 5 seconds. Hope this all works.
