  1. As @Chris.ac mentioned, a photo would have been handy when I had a go at getting access to my blocked drains. So, here you go and my story... It was hell trying to get the left nut undone on my 2008 Alphard, it had locking glue on the thread and I suspect never removed before. I had already got the nut off here before I thought to take some photos. However, the right nut was much easier - just a single turn was required.. and POP! So, instead of this... The right hand side is now like this.. And discovered it was unhelpfully not an easy replacement... Frustrated, I retreated inside with the sunroof to investigate fixes to my screw-up... As everybody knows, a story like this is always improved by adding the phrase "and then it rained..." So it did exactly that. /sigh Well, at least the drains are now unblocked. EDIT: Any tips you may have on where to buy a replacement part would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Our Alphard 2002-2008 came with the room lights altered to blue (the up-lighters). From what we can tell, they have probably replaced the previously clear plastic cover or coloured it in with pen. I want to remove one to inspect it and un-colour by whatever means necessary, but cannot see an easy way to remove it without talking off a bunch of trim. Any ideas how it is attached and the correct method for maintenance of the room lights? Cheers.
  3. I believe that is indeed the top tether anchor point, it doesn't seem to state anything about it in the manual oddly though. You CAN use the third row with child seats according to the manual, but you only have the seatbelt attachment option. We found that you can get them tightly fitted by pushing the seat forward after attaching the belt, and use the load anchor for the top tether to add some further rigidity. Obviously the second row is a better fitting point as it has all three connection methods, but the rear is also a possible solution it seems.
